The food I ordered was excellent. Kudos overall. The Thai iced tea was wonderful. The fried belly pork with garlic was crazy good, the braised pork with chili and basil was super spicy and fabulous. There was some sort of fish souffle which was also...superb. The tom yum soup wasn't the greatest, but to be fair, the other dishes more than made up for that. Would definitely visit again and try a few other dishes!More

Such a lovely place as the menu selection is superb (pictures on the menu are a great help!), the manager was very friendly (offering to help take pictures) and the food is delicious. We ordered the Prawn Springrolls (twice! It was so good), the steamed...crab claws, the Beef Mussaman with Roti and Crab Claws Hor Mok. There are so many other choices we wanted to try but the portions are quite big (making it well worth the cost as well). An unexpected surprise when visiting the lavatory just outside this quaint home style restaurant, it was airconditioned! Temperatures in Bangkok can get quite hot and humid so this was a great service by the restaurant for its customers. Parking is quite limited and there is no valet, however, for all else that it offers it deserves 5 stars.More

This Phuket Town Restaurant is located at the relatively new Singha Complex. Dinner time, no crowd... not sure if it is any good, but took a leap of faith... Totally rewarded with one of the tastiest braised pork dish ever!! Very happy man :)

Without fail a must go too for me whenever I am in Bangkok. The noodles a speciality of the restaurant is my favourite. Very authentic which means it is spicy. The retaurant does not tone down their dishes because the clientele are predominantly Thais. It...is not in the tourist drag but you can take the BTS to Thonglor and walk about 15 minutes to the restaurant. Located in quiet small soi in a quaint house with beautiful floor tiles and air conditioned bathrooms..I have tried these noodles in other restaurants eg Prai Raya but this is truly te best. They have a very extensive menu for other dishes as well.More

Very good, spicy, Southern Thai food. Lots of great fresh seafood. A bit pricy but I'd go again. Every dish is worth trying.

I always come to Phuket Town Restaurant for their Crab curry with rice noodle - Kanom Chine Nam Ya Puu. The portion is big. The pickles given are plenty. The curry is creamy and spicy. The pineapple is a nice touch. The crab meat is...less generous in portion though they have raised the price. It used to come in a big chuck and I wish it stay that way. Still, I can’t find a better curry crab with rice noodle in the neighborhood. Other southern Thai food is also nice and there is quite a variety of phuket local dishes.More

The restaurant is located in a quiet back street off Soi Sukhumvit 55 in Thonglor. Parking is available outside. The menu consists of southern style Thai food. It is an upmarket well-decorated, family oriented place. We came at lunch time and ordered a selection of...different dishes including their coconut flavored signature khanom jeen nam yaa puu (crab curry with fermented rice noodles). As we sat there, many people came in to get take out food. This restaurant is getting fantastic reviews from BK Magazine and a number of websites. Even if the food is authentic and even if I enjoyed my meal I would not say that it is a place you should go out of your way to visit, at least not for the food. Still, it is a pleasant back street location where you can escape the intensive activity of Bangkoks most busy area.More

A few friends and I had lunch here because we just heard that this place has good Southern cuisine. We ordered many dishes. The star of the day was the huge fishballs and the very yummy sauce that came with it. This sauce is amazing...and exactly what I think a good sauce should be. They nailed this one perfectly so I recommend you to try it. We ordered two spicy curry dishes; fish with young coconut meat and pork. They were alright. If you're someone like me who prefers a lot of spice and heat this may come off a little too mild. My friends who normally do not take spicy food loved them though. They said the dishes weren't too spicy for them but still plenty flavorful. The deep fried squid tentacles salad was crispy. The stir-fried vegetables with eggs and crispy shallots was quite nice. There was plenty of everything. The decoration inside the place is very nice. Looks very retro. The service was just okay.More

I lived in Phuket and this is a go to place for southern style cooking. Try the crab, or any of the soups.

This is a very old and ordinary stall in Phuket town. They only serve Hokkien Mee and fried rice. The Hokkien mee is super delicious. They even serve small oysters in the noodle to make it taste different from others. Don’t be full there’s hardly...anyone in the stall but you might have to wait for more than half an hour. There’s lots of orders by phone calls. The owner also the Chef himself really takes his time to dedicate every serving but worth the wait. Highly recommended.More

Yes as the top line said. Although nothing is special, nothing is too bad except services which they only used foreign who either speak english (which is fine) or those who could not understand thai well (and. O english). Worst they dont care much to...services but just to open new bottle of water.More

Took my team here for dinner recently and was really impressed by the choice of food on offer and the quality. The service was second to none and they have English speaking staff which is a big plus to help you navigate through the large...and varied menu. Being a huge fan on northeastern cuisine I was pleasantly surprised by the south of Thailand style and I will be back!More
