Akbar is one of my go-to places when in Bangkok. I enjoy Mediterranean/Middle Easter/Indian foods and this restaurant serves all. The hummus and naan is delicious. The dal soup during my last visit was bland. The masala I've had has been delicious and just spicy...More

What a gem! This restaurant is a fantastic place, located at a crossroads between Sukhumvit Road and Soi4. Inside the place is very delicious, and the staff is extremely kind. I eat some indian food and was really good. Highly recommended.

The food is good and the prices are too. Indian food in Thailand is often overpriced but the cost here is very reasonable. The restaurant is clean and the staff are polite and efficient. I'll be back again.

We ate all vegetarian food and were amazed by the service and the food we received. The most amazing part was the service from all the staff, and the atmosphere felt homely.

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls
lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll
rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While
the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of
entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys)
where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for
a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and
soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
