Came across this when wandering down the street looking for restaurant and thought would give it a go. Really enjoyed great tasty food with fast service. Returned again for a second night as was really good value.

Had high hopes after seeing the reviews, but sad to say this was a big disappointment. Ordered VERY spicy curry chicken, fried spring rolls and one other dish. The curry had no spice, didn't even touch my drink while eating it - staff didn't apologize or care. Spring rolls came at the end of the meal, which was 90 minutes... More

What a wonderful restaurant! One minute its a bank forecourt - bank closes and in no time the restaurant is set up and serving superb meals at ridiculously low prices. Everything is shipped in in trailers - furniture, cooking equipment, ready chilled beer, plates, glasses, cutlery - everything. Simply the best food we ate, the whole time we were in... More

Soon after dawn this great place pops up in front of a Officebuilding. The food is authentic, cheap and absolute delicious. After spending 5 weeks in Thailand I can say this is my streetfood favourite. The simple things are mostly the best as the fried rice definetely the best I had . Must do in Bangkok !

Came upon this place when exploring the area for a bite to eat. We had a rice dish, a sweet Thai curry, battered chicken and a rice noodle dish. Couldn't find it when surfing TripAdvisor but glad we did! Plenty of choice. Drinks looked a little dearer than I would have thought but we're foodies anyway. Would recommend for a... More

This cafe "appears" on the forecourt of a bank after the bank has closed, right next to the skytrain - very atmospheric! Quite simply they serve the best Thai food in the world cooked just as spicy, or not, as required. Service is friendly and efficient. And prices are very sensible from about 350B per person, including drinks. Open from... More

This place is really cool. Very unusual for Europeans. The whole place is basically the entrance to an bank building. During the day you would have no idea, that a couple of hours later people will enjoy their dinner on these doorsteps. ;-) Anyways, in the evening they put some table there and a little tent is build up that... This is a nice place to eat on the footpath under the railway line. Great location to watch everything pass by. Food is cheap and good too, service was also great.

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
