While we stayed at the Peninsula, we ate here three times as the service is outstanding and the food delicious. We loved the dim sum. Fresh ingredients when put together were amazing dishes. We tried almost everything and would eat there even if we had not stayed at the hotel.

We ate here the night before the Chinese new year and I was hoping for a bit more glitz, but it was fairly low key, without even a fortune cookie. The food was authentic chinese - and the restaurant was full of Chinese. Which I guess I should have expected. There was no accommodation for the Western version of a... More

As regular visitors to the Peninsula in Bangkok, we always have one of our dinners at Mei Jiang. It offers consistently great and authentic Chinese cuisine, and the Beijing Duck is definitely our favorite dish and highly recommended. The service is very attentive and friendly at all times.

The location and ambience are very nice here, the food was good. The shrimp cake starter was amazingly yummy. Only down side was after finishing your main meal the service seemed to go a little downhill. More attention to guests who want to enjoy their drinks before leaving

Teo Chew Chinese food is familiar for Chinese people in Thailand. That's why this Cantonese restaurant play around this promotion for 2 months. Chef Jackie said that Teo Chew people can cook seafood well because they lived in southern part where touch the sea. The majority menu of Teo Chew food is not too salty, not too spicy. Chef want... We had a meal for two with appetisers and mains, bottle of red wine and still water. The food was beautifully presented and was full of flavour. For the appetisers we had the cutlet prawns and the cold marinated chicken in Szechuan chilli. For the mains we had the tenderloin beef in barbecue sauce and the crispy chicken. The portions... Service and food were both top notch. The set menu for one consisted of enough courses to satisfy any one. Happy to return.

We ate in Mei Jiang every day of our stay as since the very first day their waiter Narong was so professional and attentive with us, we made such great recommendations, specially the pekin duck which was the best one I have tasted in my life, not only that he was so skilled slicing the entire duck and in every...
