Beautifully cooked fish and chips. Moist fish, which is rare in Thailand, and crumbed or battered, Staff good, drinks reasonable. Outstanding fish, but same price as NZ, or Australia..

Fish & Chips is certainly not "haute cuisine" but having spent nine years in London I know it has its merits. At Snapper, the Kiwis teach the Brits a lesson. Wild catch battered prawns, crumbed deep sea cod and thick cut chips are just superb.

The good news is that I had a brilliant meal of flake, chips and salad at Snapper New Zealand in Bangkok this evening. The bad news is that the restaurant manager advised the business will close down within weeks because the land has been sold...More

First it is very difficult to find. Whilst the address is Soi 11 the 1/21 added means it is actually off Soi 11 in a very small Soi and round a corner so you can't see it from Soi 11. And be careful Soi 11...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls

the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of

where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for
a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and
soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
