Forget ambiance , but to have desi chaats in videsh is awesome. I surprised my counterparts with some awesome chaat blends.

The only reason that it has two stars, is the friendly staff and the rather nice atmosphere. But the food was really bad. And expensive. The curries they have tasted like Malaysian curry, not Indian. Something like Tikka Massala is very weird, just not correct. Mango lassi overly sweet. No basmati rice. Price of Kingfisher beer absurd.

We ordered delivery to our house so can't comment on the actual ambience or service of their restaurant. The food tasted good - standard Indian fare. Nothing hugely exciting but we found it fine and the price was very reasonable. Food portions were good. We ordered butter chicken, rice, garlic naan and the non vegetable platter. We'd probably order from... More

OK OK FOOD/CHAAT, BUT TERRIBLE DECOR/AMBIENCE, they really need a re-furbish!! foods also ok ok, like one-timer for chaat craving!!! locations central but like i said if they don't do refurbishment, i refuse to go back!!! quantity is generous in some dishes while others its typical indian mentality serving!! really not would like to recommend it to my fellow readers!!!... I did not enjoy this place at all. Dining for two they manged to screw the order up. The Tandoori chicken was the worst I have ever tasted. It was dry and chewy, like eating an old shoe. The food is just OK, nothing special here. Once again there are better places to spend your money.

I had read about Indian Chaat, and having visited almost all Indian restaurants in Bangkok, we decided to pay a visit to Indian Chaat tonight. We took a taxi from Emporium, and the place was easy to locate (opposite sawasdee school, on Soi Sawasdee). The place was a normal shop converted to a restaurant. Not too big, and had 5... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
