We enjoyed our visit to this little restaurant/take away. It was busy with many grab drivers taking food to deliver. We had the roast duck with pork dim sum, soup on the side and crispy roast pork with prawn dim sum. Both were delicious and...very cheap. The portions aren't large but easy enough to order a second portion or try something else. We had three main courses for less than the price of a Big Mac. Very good value and tasty.More

Heard its decades old duck shop so headed over to have duck noodles. We ordered the duck noodle bowl with all the meats(siew char, roasted pork, wanton, duck ). Taste wise is average nothing too impressive but it doesn't taste too bad too.

In Bangkok, food is plentiful. Sidewalks are lined with fish fermenting and vendors frying. It’s a lot to take in and might be tough to choose a good place. This is a go-to. One of us is an adventurous eater. One of us enjoys a...sample of exotic but demands something “normal.” The duck was very nice. However, after waltzing around in a sweltering city with “exotic” smells wafting, the plain rice and the roasted pork was such a relief. Service is polite and food is fast!More

Prachak is an institution... and for good reason. The food is consistently delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Don't miss the roasted duck and egg noodles, order it dry with the soup on the side for the best experience!

Having lived in BKK for some time I have been wanting to check out this restaurant that's so famous for sometime. I must say I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is on the busy stretch of Charoen Krung Road on the right had side if walking...from Sapan Taksin BTS. Is very easy short walk from the station. As you walk in head straight upstairs to be seated. Don't be deterred by what seems like "chaos" with food orders, packing, cooking going on around you. I got there just after 11 and from a few diners at the time the tables quickly filled up by the time I left. For me this Is a place to "eat and go" although I noticed a couple working away on laptops (with free WiFi why not ?). Food is served pormpty and is delicious and simple no frills fare. I think that is why it's so popular and special as the writing on the wall!More

Small, fast, good We googled closest cheap eats with our area we were staying and we weren’t disappointed Whilst sitting at one of the tables you will notice the high turnover food this place churns out, mostly locals lining up for their take away and...waiting for a table A cheap eats place that doesn’t disappoint 4 of us had 2 dishes each and 4 large beers for $42 AUD Good clean local fresh food, definitely recommend if you are looking for a proper Thai experience and for cheap Definitely go backMore

We had a lovely lunch experience at Prachak Roasted Duck Restaurant. I had the duck and dried noodle while my partner had the pork and rice. Everything was extremely tasty while being very affordable. I wasn't so enamored with the hygiene of the place which...was extremely messy and dirty but that is to be expected from a local food place like this. I would not hesitate in returning in the future due to the high value and flavor of the food.More

We were determined to locate this restaurant. It was so easy to be missed as it was dark and only have a narrow entrance piled up with everything including people waiting for take outs. We were sent to their 2nd floor, the restaurant had a...casual layout, just as when we’d spent time looking through their menu the server said all roasted duck were sold out! We finally got to try their roasted duck that the restaurant is famous for a day later for brunch. We were seated on the crowded main floor. I had way better roasted duck before, however, the efficiency and the history behind this restaurant was impressive. There are reasons to be a long standing restaurant in Bangkok since 1909. Get your experience.More

A friend recommended this restaurant and wow! What a find! As local as local gets, a tiny place with plastic stools. I had the duck with noodles and it was excellent, although portions are small. Next time I'd likely get something else in addition. The...total bill for four people with four waters came to less than $10! Enjoy!More
