Jazz with passion

Well it was a great night of jazz in a 'grande' atmosphere. Musicians played with a lot of fun and passion. So rare and enjoyable. Could this be my new favorite place in town ?

I ended up seeking out this spot based purely on it's stellar reviews here and it still exceeded my expectations. The actual "living Room" space was closed for a private event but we were seated in the neighboring "library" area which was just fine. The Living Room is actually a hotel restaurant in the Sheraton and if not for Trip... More

I like lunch buffet. Price is ok especially use Sheraton card ( can get 50 percent off ). It's not spg card, only Thais or expat can obtain. Lunch is good values for money. From Japanese food to western food. Meat is a bit hard to eat. Desert is also nice. Indian and Arabic food also available.

Having visited the Living Room on many occasions I decided to spend my last night there. The staff are always really friendly and I was greeted back as usual by all staff on duty there that night. Nid, Oil, Jang, Cake, Addy and Beer were working that night, Oak was just finishing but welcomed me back as normal. Its a... More

This is my second time visiting here. The Living Room is the bar styled outlet which combine dishes from two main outlets, Basil (Thai Food) and Rossini (Italian Food). My friends and I ordered a lot of food as you can see below. Drink I recommend you is Lime Cordial with Perrier Sparkling Mineral Water. The taste is great. Dishes... More

I popped in the lIving room based on the great reviews and was quite disappointed. The wines are not stored/shipped properly, so all the house wines are borderline spoiled. I was disappointed, and the 400+ baht price per glass added insult to injury. The jazz is old fashioned and too smooth-like bad elevator music. Luckily there are many hipper, modern... More

Took a trip into the centre of Bangkok for a nice meal, very good food, service was a bit slow but this is a relaxing place to spend the evening listening to live Jazz which was excellent, a little pricey but a special birthday meal so worth it.

I am royally confused how it ranked so high. #5 on TA. Atmosphere Beautiful. Comfortable setting. Lovely live Jazz music. Food Minimal selection. Had the crispy soft shelled crap, grilled sirloin beef in fish sauce based dish, chicken wings. Had 3 cocktails. Food was yummy. Not stellar. Just good. The drinks were well done. Also ordered tiramisu but it was... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
