We went there on March 22. For dinner with friends from work. It was one of the BEST local food experiences. Every dish was delicious. Aromatic. Fresh. Would love to come back again.

Gedhawa wasn't what I had expected it to be. I visited because it was recommended. The reviews I read were mixed but I made reservations for 7PM. The restaurant was packed to the rafters. I ordered the spicy prawns on the head's recommendation and the...pomelo salad. While I wont deny the freshness of the prawns, I have to say it was too plain and lacked bite. Spice level? Zero!! The pomelo salad fared worse. Every dish I have eaten had the pulp separated. This was in chunks. Some lazy work in the kitchen. I dont intend to return. Bill came to 450baht.More

We looked for a good Thai restaurant close to our hotel and after reading very good reviews in TripAdvisor we choose Gedhawa and we had a great dinner with delicious food and very friendly (English) service. Definetly recommended!

Wonderful authentic thai supper! Quaint atmosphere, attentive and kind staff. Very tasty food, one of the best curry we’ve eaten here in Bangkok. We initially wanted to go to another restaurant but we were very happy to finally end up here. It is also easily...reachable by foot in this sometimes complicated neighborhood. Tiny Thai place for those who don’t want too touristic restaurants. The dark street will lead to it, but the place itself is nice, family-run, Thai food oriented and in some ways charming. Don’t expect the service to be fast, but the food will be...very good. Specialties will include North-Thai kitchen. Mango sticky rice is one of the best in town)More

Went back 3 years after our first visit - to its new location a couple of streets away. Really good food but not as amazing as we remembered. Pretty good quality - all fresh and tasty. Just not exceptional.

A very busy restaurant filled with locals and visitors. You have to book a table in advance to ensure a place. Food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Wide selection of Thai food choices. Wine prices are not highlighted on the menu - we...ordered a bottle of red wine only to discover the charge was 1300 tbt. Wine was nice though ! Best to check prices before ordering. The Gedhawa has moved! Its new address is 78/2 Soi 33 Sukhumvit Bangkok It is very close to the old address. On the right coming from Sukhumvit. Very visible. Tel is 02 662 0501 The menu seems unchanged.
