Our meal at Gaggan was one of the most memorable we have had. When we arrived, the host told us that he had a special table for us, and seated us at the chef's table. It was incredible watching the chefs in action. The food was innovative and delicious. Flavors were bright and clean. Each of the 25 courses was... More

I think most come here would be expecting some sort of Indian food but we knew that it's not really Indian as such. There were all up some 25 dishes to go through in 2- 2.5 hours. There was really no theme to the dishes offered. Some dishes were warm, some were cold, many were of dehydrated flowers, plants etc.... More

This place is well worth trying not only for the food but for the entire experience. The food itself is creative, delicious and fantastically presented. All 25 courses are a surprise! The staff are fun and friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have about the place or menu. The chef also visits the table after the meal... More

We visited Gaggan at the end of last month to celebrate our wedding anniversary, while holidaying in Bangkok, and I can safely say this is the most extraordinary meal I have ever eaten. Located down an unassuming soi off a main thoroughfare, Gaggan is housed in a beautiful white painted house which harked back to the days of colonial occupation... More

First let me get the bad part out of the way (and why I rated this very good instead of excellent). The reservation process is a joke. It's takes weeks of follow ups to get a booking confirmed. Heaven forbid you ask for the chefs table , in which case add a few more weeks and several excuses . It... More

Dining here is an adventure. Mad science happens in the kitchen and each dish is new or presents a different way of eating food. It was such a novel experience for a lay person like me. We ate everything with childish curiosity and much gusto. All the itty bitty servings add up to a lot and towards the end of... More

I have recently visited Gaggan for the fourth time in 18 months. The food and service have consistently been of the highest standards. I think that many of the negative reviews on here have been by people who are expecting Michelin style fine dining. They don't get the Gaggan premise which, in my opinion, is to surprise and hopefully delight... More

I live next door and went with three friends that live nearby. It was terrible. Maybe cause the head chef wasn't there? We were all at the bar/prep area, the food was rushed- fine, but it just wasn't good. The molecular gastronomy of it all was just so overdone ingredients and flavors were completely lost in the creations. Our bottle... More

We visited Gaggan almost about a year back. I had a very strong feeling that my frustration with the restaurant will mallow down by now. Though many of the course was awesome one of the lamb serving was bad. When I say "Bad" I do not mean tasted badly but more rotten. I complained about the same to the chef... More
