I have been looking forward to visiting Gaggan for a long time . I like the idea to taste a lot of different things, with a lot of different flavoures . So i had high expectations before this visit . And then it started , 25 servings, and the most beautiful, delicious, strange, crazy, visual, skeptical, unusual and good tastings came out :-)... More

Perhaps my palate isn't "sophisticated" enough or I'm a connoisseur of more "simple" foods but I was beyond disappointed with the food. It IS very inventive, the atmosphere amazing, the experience at the chef's counter once in a lifetime, but....I want my food to taste like food, not a science project and that is what I felt I was experiencing.... This restaurant is an amazing experience, not cheap but it worth it. 25 bites of creative indian cuisine. I would say 5 were spectacular, 10 excellent, 10 good and just 5 average. Restaurant decoration is nice, a kind of colonial house. Staff is very professional and friendly. Restaurant has a nice wine menu.

Traveled to BKK specifically to eat here, and boy, was it well worth it! Everything you've read about the food, how it's served, and how creative it is is true. We were on the 9.30 dinner service and waited for a bit while being seated. The mansion was beautifully appointed - simple white walls and interiors with a glass walled... More

Gaggan is an amazing place!! This is an experience and adventure, 25 courses with a size of a bite to 2 bites in 3 hours. not all courses are great but everything is made with a lot of thought and mixture of flavors. must have for foodies!! Biggest tip - if you cannot appreciate fine dining, don't go there.

Restaurant Gaggan sits within a glorious whitewashed, colonial-style, double-storey timber house located at the end of a grimy, narrow alley...the contrast a metaphor for the experience itself though that's perhaps a little harsh. Certainly the much mentioned and cursed booking process is not a positive. For that matter neither is the expensive wine list nor, one of my pet hates,... More

Easily the worst "top" restaurant in the world.... service sucks... just look at the reviews here and the fact no bad review is addressed by staff/management because they have nothing to say to defend themselves..... gives you a pretty good indication of the service and quality of this restaurant. Easy pass for any discerning diner. Eat at the Peninsula or... More

Progressive indian cusine. 25 dishes, some very good and some just ok. Clever waiter making all the different dishes interesting but we know many restaurants that deserve a better ranking than GAGGAN. But it was a night to remember :) Price/Performance ok.

The title of this post is not mine, but rather the one Gaggan has earned over the last few years in the Top50 rankings. Gaggan is a dinning experience and is definitely the most sophisticated food I have ever eaten in my life. It is slightly on the expensive side, but the Chef Gaggan Anand and his crew will make...
