The restaurant is located in COMO Metropolitan Hotel, so it is quite easy to find. I did expect top notch Thai food because of its reputation as a top rated restaurant in Asia, but alas, I was so disappointed. I admit food review can be very subjective, but none of the four dished I ordered were to my taste! Special... More

The restaurant is very cosy and we were very well treated. The menu is very thai food with little sophistication, what makes it special. I don´t like spicy that much so I thought it was a bit too much spicy. My husband enjoyed the meal very much. The dessert menu is also very thai and at this point, as a... More

Had the tasting menu to get a good feel for the chef's style. It was fantastic and outstanding price for such a wonderful experience. The service was also wonderful. Sophisticated without being pompous. Our waitress took the time to explain the background and style of the various dishes. Very highly recommended.

Booked this months ago after hearing about it on a foodie programme. Easy to find from our hotel in Sukhumvit using the metro to Lumphini. The restaurant is very tastefully designed and in a lovely looking hotel. We ate from the tasting/set menu as it was too difficult to choose a dish, this was a great idea in one way... More

Ok so you will pay top dollar for this restaurant. We went because we were staying in the hotel and because of how highly rated it is. If you want high end good quality food then you will get it. If you want traditional Thai flavours and good value then maybe you wont. We are pescatarian so choice is limited.... More

Let's face it - it's hard to get bad Thai food in Bangkok. Pretty much everything you eat, from the street food, to the hotel restaurants are excellent. But Nahm is in another class. The difference about Nahm's food is that it's authentic traditional Thai food. It's not the homogenized, dumbed-down type of Thai food everyone else serves. It's locally... More

Expectations are high when you're 6th in Asia. But what we got was a very beautiful restaurant, good service without being overly friendly or intrusive. Food - we had the tasting menu. Portions are quite small. Won't be completely stuffed unless you eat a lot of rice. Food is good, excellently executed Thai food. But it won't be something you'd... More

According to a very reliable source, Nahum is the top 40 Restuarant in Asia. It is very hard to get a reservation. It is located in the Metropolitan Hotel. They serve traditional Thai food with the modern twist. Their position and size are small, so you can order a lot of variety . Great place for dates, or for people... More

I went here with guests after booking it on the internet from the UK, prior to our trip to Bangkok. It was recommended by a friend who although hadn't eaten there, did no the management team. Firstly on arrival we were told that our table wasn't ready and would be 20 minutes if we wanted a table inside. Though we... More

We had high expectation on this famous Thai restaurant but we got so disappointed - very sweet duck clear soup with young coconut (taste almost like dessert), ordinary stuffed calamari soup and many ordinary dishes with ordinary taste and presentations. They were not that bad but they were all just so ordinary. Service was superb but it seemed to me... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
