When Nahm opened it was controversial as it serves highly contemporary food in the view of many people. The michelin starred chef and operator david Thompson introduced a series of well research original dishes that most people had never heard of. And having a foreigner produce fantastic novel thai was seen by many Thais as very strange. Almost an affront... More

We ate here with a group of friends who love their food, one of whom is a wine maker from NZ. We had a semi private room which was well furnished and comfortable. We had the set menu for B2,500 and he chose the wines. Great not to think! the food was sublime and the wines great and great value.... More

Had a fantastic dinner here, whilst staying at the hotel. The service was fantastic, with the wait staff very helpful. One of us didn't want seafood, so they were most accomodating with the menu. Probably the best Penang curry I have ever eaten.

We went there for dinner during holiday because the restaurant was among the best restaurants in Asia. Good location and service. We took two set menus with 6 dishes each but we were really disappointed; the chili and hot spices made it impossible to distinguish the different tastes. One of the desserts(waffle) was really good. With an acceptable equilibrium of... More

Unfortunately we discovered this on last day in Bangkok . SO we did leave Bangkok with a Bang!! Had the set menu and every dish was taste sensation. Reasonably priced for the quality , but what is price when you have a food experience such as this.

Given the reputation I had very high hopes. I went on my own and ordered the chefs selection and every dish was just sensational. The Tom yam soup was so good I almost cried. The service is also wonderfully polite and humble. A measure of a venue very comfortable with itself. Add it to your list a must visit!

Assumption : it's supposed to be the best restaurant in Thailand ( or at least in Bangkok ); everything started perfectly ; the atmosphere , the price-quality relationship , the availability of the service. We've ordered the set menu . Though I love spicy food they insisted all dishes were not that spicy ( " medium" ); and certainly this... More

Great innovative Thai cuisine. Their degustation dinner was perfect, subtle spice , chefs show excellent respect for the ingredients. Each dish is well presented, wines are rather expensive but a good range from Old & New World.

Haters keep hating. One of the bestvin the worls period. If you appreciate multilayered and delightfully executed michelin/san Pelligrino food go. I've had ~20 of the top 50 in the world. This is ince again correct. Delightful. As far as I'm concerned the 200 USD spent was a bargain. Noma set me back 500 USD, and the quality is the... More

The chef's menu was superb, definitely the best Thai food that I've had and just the right amount of food. My personal favourite was the beef rendang, but it was all delicious except the dessert...but Asian cuisine isn't really known for it's dessert. If you can book a table outside by the pool.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
