The Rain Tree Café has been reconceived in a modern interpretation of Thai neo-colonial interior décor + style. Three separate but complementary spaces evidencing extreme elegance and making excellent use of natural light are interwoven with threads of touching homeliness. These three unique areas are cleverly interwoven and are aptly named: The Bronze Kitchen upgraded with interactive live cooking stations, The Valaya Room with its formal library-style "VIP" space and The Secret Garden for more private affairs. Enjoy an inspiring voyage of discovery on our stunning international buffet that also features five specialty dishes of the day from our specialist head chefs. Service for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Brunch and Dessert Buffet.

Xmas night at Raintree Cafe

Our family booked a table at the Raintree Cafe for xmas night buffet. We had eaten at the premises many time before and hence knew of the excellent food it supplied. We never dreamed that it would be as good s it was. The service be the staff could not be faulted. Bangkok is our favourite city in Asia but I've never booked a brunch buffet even though many of the larger hotels have been highly recommended. We booked a trip for our 10th wedding anniversary so I thought we would book the Rain Tree Cafe for a treat since it's not cheap for THB3040 and we were NOT disappointed! I really... More

This hotel is a strange beast in Bangkok as it has tremendous banquet facilities and hosts many weddings and conferences. It is a large property with many restaurant choices. The Rain Tree Cafe is their buffet offering and used to be 4* and now I would give it 2.75* though I will say 3 for sake of this review. The... More

Pre X-mas dinner with family, Saturday night seafood buffet. I have prior experience with this place and it was excellent each time. No so today. Oysters tasted bad, limited selection of bread, and not that fresh, nothing really exciting. 2,000 Baht per person, + 2,000 baht for a bottle of wine that costs 300 in Europe. All in all, a... More

Just had a seafood dinner with our family, total 7 persons on Saturday. The price is 1,980B/per pax. Food was good, fresh, also the desserts, nothing to blame. Just there is no juice, water or coffe, tea included, we had to pay extra for water. With nice desserts, but had to order coffee to drink with, another 200B to pay... More

Just enjoyed what is probably the best buffet I have ever had at the Raintree Cafe. Had the Sunday brunch which included a bottle of Laurent Perrier champagne, unlimited sparkling wine and cocktails/long drinks (made to order). At THB 3,000 ($100) this was actually incredible value for money. The selection was extensive without being 'piled up' and included copious amounts... More

We had the Sunday brunch buffet which was excellent ,the range and quality of food on offer was amazing I can not fault the food.
