Stayed at plaza athenee and had breakfast here during my stay. It's quite large with big windows letting the morning light in Variety is ok, though not luxurious nor wow. Service staff also seemed too busy to tend to everyone properly with coffee/tea

Please allow me to compliment all your staff for the great hospitality that they provide. Two days ago, I told one of my colleagues about how I have been a guest in various hotels across the world but the hospitality that I am receiving at Plaza Athenee Bangkok surpasses all the rest. The exemplary dedication and respect that your staff... More

Very good spread of food and even though we ate on a weekday (Tue), the sea food spread was really impressive. You definitely need to try the food here. And they have a very nice ambience and service team who is always ever ready to help but never intruding your private space.

it was very nice having dinner at the Rain Tree Cafe. It was the first time for me and my family here. I'm very impressed with the service and the waitress especially one lady with the very short hair. All staff were very nice and friendly. Food was satisfying.

Sunday brunch at the Rain Tree Cafe in Bangkok was outstanding. Set in a pleasant ground floor restaurant in the deluxe Plaza Athenee Hotel, the buffet was a sumptuous feast with an emphasis on fresh seafood. Shrimp, raw oysters, Alaskan king crab legs, sushi, rock lobster and American lobster and caviar were in abundance. There was Peking duck, leg of... More

Had an amazing time at the rain tree café as always! Lobsters, Oysters, prawns and scallops are fresh and the food is exceptional. Then theres the dessert to put you in a very satisfying food coma. K. Pranee - the manager, took exceptional care of us while we enjoyed our lovely dinner. Cant wait to go back :)

The Rain Tree Café has been reconceived in a modern interpretation of Thai neo-colonial interior décor + style. Three separate but complementary spaces evidencing extreme elegance and making excellent use of natural light are interwoven with threads of touching homeliness. These three unique areas are cleverly interwoven and are aptly named: The Bronze Kitchen upgraded with interactive live cooking stations, The Valaya Room with its formal library-style "VIP" space and The Secret Garden for more private affairs. Enjoy an inspiring voyage of discovery on our stunning international buffet that also features five specialty dishes of the day from our specialist head chefs. Service for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Brunch and Dessert Buffet.
