Based on the reviews on trip advisor we had high expectations but were very disappointed. The place obviously thinks of itself as something special. But neither the service nor the food matched the ambitions. Our first course arrived (cold even though it was supposed to be warm) minutes after our aperitif, we didn't get a chance to order wine. All... More

We came here expecting a great dinner but it was a huge disappointment. I had second thoughts when we reached the restaurant at 8 plus but only one table was occupied but proceeded due to the great reviews on TA. Big mistake. The food was way too salty and at best extremely ordinary. There's nothing to shout about and for the... More

This small restaurant is one of our favourite because they can mix thai products and cook them same as what you will have in a French restaurant. The menu changes every week. You will be always surprized. Booking is recommended. less than 30 seats.

This is a great little find. The decor is nothing special but the menu is great (if you are not a vegetarian). The menu has 2 items to chose from for a starter, main and dessert. Not a huge variety buy always tasty. I have been 6-7 times and have never been disappointed. The wine list is small so you... More

Why did we leave it till now/ We travel to Bangkok two times a year and only tried La Table de Tee this time. A small, intimate restaurant serving excellent food. Add in professional and warm greeting and service plus excellent value for the quality offered and you have a winner. The food is a delicious meeting of west and... More

We stayed at the So Sofitel and took a leisurely walk to the restaurant (about 20 min). We arrived early at the restaurant for our 7.00pm reservation and was surprised that we can choose which table to sit! But soon the restaurant fill up quite quickly although there were a couple of empty tables. We enjoyed the food very much.... More

This has been a favourite restaurant for several years. Last night I took a friend - a superb French chef - there for dinner. As always, the welcome was warm, the wine was cold, and the food superb. My friend rated it as one of the best meals she has ever eaten - and I concur.

I arrived solo without reservation, menu was presented before seating which i found quiet rude. Why not leave a menu stall in front of the restaurant to filter customer if this was the purpose, less offensive to any individual. The food was well presented, but my choice of dish risotto and main dish red wine beef was way over cooked.... More

Well we found this place through Trip Advisor and so it seems fitting to return our opinion on the same medium. It is a tiny little restaurant down a side street opposite a large chain of restaurants called (MK restaurants), not easy to find but worth the effort. We were looking for a restaurant experience that was more formal and... More

"Omakase" style with one menu for all with a few options. This ensures the freshness of the ingredients and showcases the latest ideas of the chef. All dishes were tasty, reflecting various flavors, all harmoniously blended. Service was friendly and we got a chance to talk to the chef. Only negative point was the wine by the glass which was... Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
