Romantic restaurant with a nice garden and delicious vegetarian food. Our waiter was so attentive and friendly - we felt very welcome. We were in BKK for only 4 days but as this restaurant was so great we went there 2 times. Recommendable!

We had the vegetarian set menu and left stuffed. Not only is the portion a good size but the value and the taste are there too. It certainly felt like proper Thai food, which is seeminlgy harder and harder to find for tourists. The set menu provides a good selection of a variety of dishes from soups to currys to... More

Perhaps, it was the combination of dishes I chose but - except for the green curry with eggplant - the other dishes were average. But, nice ambiance and great service. I could give them another try and explore several other interesting-sounding dishes.

My friend is vegetarian but the other two of us are not, and often in Thailand the vegetarian suffers through some pretty dismal meals in a country with arguably the best food in Asia. Not so at Na Aroon! The food was fantastic, with a wide variety - huge menu, in fact, catering to all. We sat by the beautiful... More

I am a vegetarian and my husband is a heavy meat eater, so I often compromise on food quality (and eat the only vegetarian option on the menu) in order to go to places where he can enjoy meat. Occasionally, however, he will also do me the favor of taking me to a vegetarian restaurant. He did so on our... More

Vegetarian food that was very appealing to a non-vegetarian. Rapid service with attentive waitpersons. Fish and shrimp available if desired. Enough staff to monitor your meal. Host genuinely intent that you have an outstanding meal! Included breakfast more than enough to start the day in royal fashion.

Service is very nice and hopefully they will not take it personally. The food is outrageous if you're vegan expecting to dine in a veggie/vegan restaurant. I ordered a grilled chicken breast, which - as it was explained to me - was nothing else than a grilled tofu, with some grilled veggies. I got some tofu that resembled a chicken... More

Dear Joanna, Thanks for coming to Na Aroon. Very sorry that you did not enjoy the experience. I am glad to learn that the service was good – so that's at least one positive! I understand from my staff that initially you ordered real grilled chicken! Apparently, you did not realize that we are mainly veggie with some seafood but... More

Great restaurant for vegetarian and seafood lovers. Located near Bumrungrad hospital. Food is very healthy and low in sodium/fat. Although slightly on the pricy end and small portion. The restaurant offers a tropical view. Fantastic service from the staff.

This place has a UK owner, it is at Ariyasom Villa. You can eat indoors or outside at the pool, the shakes are super, food was OK (spicy tuna balls were nice), we would come back for the shakes and lovely setting

Description
Welcome to “Na Aroon” Restaurant at Ariyasomvilla Boutique Hotel and Spa. As you may be aware we try to produce a healthy but tasty cuisine. Our food is mainly vegetarian and we have an extensive range of seafood. We do not sell meat. We do not use MSG, food coloring, preservatives. We do use as much organic materials as we can and we try to ensure that we know the provenance of our food stuffs. We use good quality oil and properly fermented soy sauce. Please ask our staff for help on menu selection if you need assistance. Where as most of our vegetarian food is “mang sawirat” ( no killing) we can produce good tasty food for vegans and even “Jay” ( Chinese vegetarians). Please let us know if you eat eggs or not.Our western desserts are not quite so healthy but are all homemade and quite delicious! We use a good deal of fresh produce from the Kings’ project – Doi Khum – fresh strawberries, gooseberries, figs, rhubarb, raspberries – to name a few.We look forward to having you with us.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
