CRAFT, a cool and creative outdoor recreational space serving premium craft beers on draught, is situated in the heart of Bangkok on Sukhumvit 23. Craft beers incorporate quality beverages made by traditional, independently-owned brewers and bring niche small-run products to avid beer drinkers searching for something boutique and different. CRAFT Bangkok was launched on a "pop-up" basis but is now a fully-fledged beer garden with 40 taps on rotation, making it one of the largest tap houses in Southeast Asia. This place has craft beers from every corner of earth. I came for the Thai IPA. I miss my American IPA and was not disappointed, but it’s just silly getting that here. So I ordered the Summerlay FIn Fin from Full Moon. It’s really good and at ABV 6% it’s right on. Glad Phuket is a future stop I will definitely look Full Moon up. I have two more choices coming, yay!
Hey look I have read the reviews. A lot of grants that have no clue what this place is about.
1. Come here for the Craft Beer. If not, go to 7-11 for the usual non-choices.
2. If you are hungry, order from the Thai menu. Especially if you are a jerk and don’t realize how much more it costs to make western food in Bangkok.
3. If you get the western food, enjoy. It’s comfort, if it’s not up to par give them a chance to get it right. It’s not easy recreating western food here.
And the prices are right there make your own decision, and while you do that show me another beer garden in Bangkok that has a lively atmosphere and an excellent selection of IPAs.

I stopped in here by chance for a few taco's and a beer, and was very impressed. The Mexican food here is high quality and not expensive, but there are plenty of other types of food on the menu as well. You could spend hours here working your way through all the craft beers from all over the world. Great tunes playing, attentive staff, has a great buzz about the place.

Excellent beer selection, great location, great service and great music. Great entry at this place. Thr owner, Paul Watson, was an excellent host and gave us a lot of good recommendations for other local restaurants and places at Kosh Samui to check out.

I rarely (not sure if I have ever) give 1 star reviews. My wife and I were significantly overcharged and when we brought this to our servers attention we were treated very poorly. Eventually they confirmed what we actually ordered and were given our correct bill. Please check your bill before you leave.

I visited Craft 23 twice during my stay. In both cases we chose Craft 23 because of the setting. We ordered tacos, nachos, phad Thai and beers which were all good and we reordered more tacos. We enjoyed the space because we could sit back, talk and have a variety of food and beverages to choose from.

This place hides its prices on the menu and for good reason. Watered down beer at 4 times the usual price in Bangkok and an unheard of 17% service charge. I paid almost 30 usd for a burger and beer

Good music, nice outdoor seating and great selection of beer. Helps to have parking and the fact that they have a variety of restaurants you can order from whilst sitting at Craft. Definitely a chilled out vibe in the heart of Asoke

I’m not a beer drinker but we were able to get wine by the bottle next door to Craft (part of the same complex). There is a DJ playing all your requests on Friday and Saturday from 6pm-12midnight. Great night was had by all. Cheers.

Although good selection of beers retail prices are excessive. Especially when you add VAT and mandatory service charge to prices. Staff service is adequate when you can capture their attention. There are much better beer restaurants to select

Unfortunately alcohol priced in Thailand are high which makes imported beers are more expensive than many places. However we do also offer local beers which are priced accordingly.

I used to like this place for its atmosphere, its pleasant albeit not exceptionally good food, its wide selection of imported beers, including some of my Belgian favourite offered at fair prices, and its location near Asoke.
Unfortunately, Craft 23 has long since started selling cigars and offering special "Whisgars" packages: promotions based on a combination of whiskey and cigar, which have proven extremely effective in attracting Bangkok's 'very best crowd'.
Cigar lounges usually take great care to separate cigar smokers from diners and non-smoking patrons.
Not Craft 23. Craft 23 is proud to allow its customers to smoke while sipping their whiskey among diners, actually right in the midst of them, and starting from the very early opening hours.
Therefore, if enjoying dinner enveloped in thick cigar smoke is your thing, then I highly recommend this place. You will definitely get what you expect and deserve.
But if you don't like to dine while holding your breath, to avoid the miasmas emitted by overweight octogenarians, trying to impress local girls, by sipping supposedly rare scotch whiskeys and by smoking oversized cigars right under your nose, then there are thousands of alternatives in Bangkok that better suit your tastes.

Large open air bar serving a huge selection of beers. I enjoyed sitting watching the world go by. Drinks all okay. Food average but to be fair you don’t expect 5 star cuisine in a bar. All fine. My only complaint is been three times and felt the staff a tad unfriendly. One of us smoked and she was waving her hand and rolling her eyes clearly showing disdain. Which is plain rude. If you do not like smoking do not work in an outside bar and secondly you are in a street off one the busiest roads in the center of Bangkok ! I think pollution and car fumes might be more of a concern. But it was the same staff member so maybe others are all fine.

Our group of friends enjoyed a recent evening at CRAFT. They have an excellent selection of around 40 craft beers, including several good Thai craft beers. The open-air setting was nice and the service was friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed their Baht 200 Friday special on burgers and fries (an excellent deal for Bangkok). The prices were a bit steep, but in line with Thailand's costly prices for imported and craft beer. My only complaint -- despite the open-air seating -- there was a strong smell of cigar smoke wafting from the adjacent cigar bar (need better fans to disperse the smoke). I would also recommend they add more Thai craft beers to their selection list, as there are now many more good ones than just those currently on their list.

We had an early dinner at Craft and watched the passing world. The beers were cold and staff happy to offer refills. The food was great, although not an extensive menu. Everything was well presented and well priced. We chatted to the staff about local markets and got some great advice on places to go. Definitely worth the visit.

Ordered a margarita and a beer and it came to 1180 bht! Ridiculous! Sent the beer back, as it was lousy and flat. Margarita was warm and tiny. Those are ridiculous prices for a Bangkok dive bar.

Despite the recent upspringing of craft beer pubs in Bangkok, Craft is still up there. I visited regularly when I worked in Thailand and every time I visit the country I drop in.
Good beer, excellent pub food menu and friendly and efficient staff. Prices are reasonable for the Sukhumvit area. I'd always recommend a visit if you like good beer 🍺.
