A dear friend who lives in Bangkok took me to this restaurant that I did not know. The place is very nice and expertly managed by Mr. Fiorentino, very affable and professional person. I ate a very tender rib of beef and drank very well. I was surprised to find the famous Tagliatella from the Nardi i distillery in Bassano del Grappa, excellent value for money.

What to say about The Melting Clock.. This restaurant it’s so good we had to go twice! Maybe even a third 🤷🏼‍♂️
Best cocktails in Bangkok hands down! The “One night stand” I could drink about 8 of them. My GF had tried three different drinks, GCK, “Something Rosie” and some Lychee drink. All which she raved about after leaving the restaurant. Unfortunately we haven’t tried to much of their food menu but the fried enoki mushrooms and chicken Karakee were on point! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is amazing as well. Perfect for couples who want to relax and enjoy smooth jazz, great drinks and friendly staff
5/5 would recommend to anyone in Ekkami

My cousin selected this restaurant and I am grateful to her.
Warm decoration and pleasant ambiance.
We shared few starters and pastas: all tasty and well prepared.
And now let's go to the interesting part: wine.
The selection is wide and the prices are incredibly reasonable for Bangkok.
The manager proposed me a blind choice: I could not believe I had such good wine at 2000 bth.
Service was warm and attentive.
I will surely be back to better explore menu and wine cellar.

After reading all the reviews, we were super excited to treat ourselves for Christmas and eat dinner here. But it turned out to be a big mistake unfortunately.
It all started when my spouse ordered white wine, and after 5 minutes they informed us that they ran out of white wine. Which seemed weird because we were sitting next to a wine cellar. Very disappointed but not the end of the world she ordered water because she doesn’t like red wine with her pasta. Another disappointment when the water turned out to be 70 B.
For a starter we ordered the focaccia bread, which turned out to be very dry and just not cooked bread. I ordered the wagyu ragĂş but unfortunately that was also out of stock, so I went with the lamb ragĂş. The flavor was fine, although the portion seemed a bit small for its price. My partner ordered the gnocchi with black truffle and Gorgonzola. That turned out to be a big mistake as well. The gnocchi were nothing more than huge raw(!) lumps of dough. Nothing like the real gnocchi we know and eat in Europe. The sauce had a nice flavor but the undercooked doughballs made it very untasty.
The service on the other hand was perfect and the ladies took really good care of us. I would love to explain our complaints to the owner/manager but he didn’t seem to interested in our story and was playing poker on his laptop in front of our table.
We know that we’re in Asia and that we shouldn’t expect perfect Italian taste but then don’t advertise it as a perfect Italian. I left with an empty stomach (after spending almost 1400 B l) and we’re very sad. We wished we spended our money somewhere else.

The lamb came raw instead of medium rare: they took it back without apology and returned it medium rare.
The lychee/passionfruit shake hardly had lychee in it.
The owner spent 100% of his time talking to and looking after a big group, but ignored us, even though he walked past when we complained about the raw lamb.
Upon leaving, not even a thank you or goodbye.
What a shame, as the decor looks great.

Came back yesterday after a 2 year wait due to covid. This really is a lovely restaurant. Sadly there is no live music at the moment due to current restrictions but there is still a great vibe to the place.
The staff were great, and the food very good. The manager comes and checks with the customers that everything is ok. We also had a complimentary shot at the end of the meal.
Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere in a homey environment. Inspired by the great artist Salvador Dali. Food was super tasty and generous in portioning. Ambience, music selection and great food accompanied by attentive service made it a very nice evening that am sure we will repeat soon again. Nice place to hang out for a good time !

Quirky decor and furnishings add to the enjoyment of this Italian restaurant which offers enjoyable Italian fare and efficient service led by a charming and knowledgable Italian owner or manager. Tucked away down a soi off Sukhumvit, 'The Melting Clock' is a refreshing change from the scores of formulaic "Italian" restaurants that have sprung in BKK in the 20 years of my being a denizen of this great city.

Me and my wife were in Thailand for 3 weeks and this restaurant was by far our best experience. My wife suffered from severe food allergies. The owner was able to accommodate her and make her feel very comfortable. All the food was delisted and their was a great selection of beer and wine all at very reasonable prices. The service at this restaurant is second to none.
