Ordered the "Signature noodles", both dried and soup versions. The yellow flat noodles were a slimmer version of mee pok, mixed with an almost equal portion of fried wanton skin (also cut into shreds, blending visually with the noodles). Scooping the noodles and fried wanton...skins (yep, the noodles were also cut short) was like childhood once again! Back to the days when I ate noodles while hoping that there was more of the crispy wanton! For the “soup” noodles, the soup was actually something like a milder version of red curry. The red oil looked fiery, but it was not so spicy, so one could also taste the sweetness undertone. The “dried” version was like Pad Thai / Mee Goreng, which was very much like the soup noodles sans gravy (I actually think they fried the noodles before pouring in the soup).More

I randomly found this place and got to try Khao Soi Chicken. It was delicious and I would definitely come back again for other Northern dishes. This place is great for both solo travelers, friends, and family.

Ong Tong is easy to find, just off Ari BTS stop on a bustling side street. About ½ dozen small tables on first floor, but this gets crowded with Grab drivers waiting for their orders. So head upstairs where it’s quieter and more spacious. You’ll...be able to check off your selection on a sheet and hand in for ordering. Menu has Thai and English. Love this place and food. Near BTS Ari station and surrounded with street food as well. Strongly recommend to try their khao soi and Thai iced milk tea is very good. Good for 3-4 pax to try more dishes.

Came looking for quick and tasty food and this place was awesome. Delicious Khao Soi came within minutes. Mains 80-100 baht. Highly recommended for food. Lack of booze was the only downside.

Northern thailand food in a nice cute little restaurant. Most of the time you have to queue at the door, but at the same time you can already order food. The pictures on the menu are clear and it's easy to fill up the order...form even for farangs. We might had to wait 5min, service is quick, food is tasty and fresh. Staff is very helpful. My friend was curious about the cuisine in this restaurant which was the northern Thai. We order the curry noodles with beef shank and pork and also the little crab with the fat in it. I love the curry it was really light, fragrant and...delicious but for the crab, personally it was weird. So if you dont really familiar with the taste . You should probably order the curry or the other item in the menuMore

One of the outstanding Northern food restaurants in Bangkok. This small but crowded restaurant is located in Soi Ari near BTS Ari (about 260 meters from the station). It has quite a limited number of food but every menu is tasty. Try to avoid the...peak time and do go straight to the 2nd floor for seats since the G floor is always full of food delivery guys. I'm not sure if this was the most delicious meal we had... it was very very good, although maybe not the best. However, considering the price... it was the best VALUE we had for any meal. It was really cheap, and we both enjoyed the...atmosphere of the place... very lively with lots of young Thai professionals. Despite being the only foreigners there, the menu was in English and had pictures, so we had no problem ordering. We will definitely come back, and being so close to the BTS Sukhumvit line makes coming here quite easy.More
