I thought I had a great Korean ice dessert in CA but when I was introduced to the ice dessert at a coffee house called "After You" in Bangkok by my cousins I was blown away by the presentation, the choices and the long line of customers that could be up to 45 mins. The selections are amazing and every... More

My Thai friend brought me here and I've been dreaming about the dessert here ever since. Fluffy & crispy bread along with sweet savoury ice cream can never go wrong. Service excellent too.

Went to the outlet in Terminal 21. Had the toast with Nutella, a Milo ice cream and a ice tea drink with some jelly inside. Overall, gives the sense of Japanese refinement in the taste so that was good. Although I'm not sure I'd queue up for a spot. But many seem to be happy to do it. If not,... More

Ummm this place is always packed with people and queues to get in. On a Saturday night our group of 4 waited around 45 minutes for a table at Central World. But was it worth the wait! We tried the mango sticky rice shaved ice (OMG), milo toast and a green tea crepe cake. All were outstanding and I'm usually... More

I visited the place about 3 years ago with some friends, and when I came back to Bangkok again this year, After You is in my To Do list.. I love the sweetness of the cakes and the savoury of the toast. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the cakes, but I share the photo here. It is full... More

Neighborhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
