Experience was so so, i must say. First, the staff are not that friendly, there were only two tables, so it was not busy. The staff were fairly cold, not hospitable, smiling and warm as you would find typically Thai staff. Food was good, cold...cut and pasta, nothing exceptional. Found it odd that the special was well advertised on the website but it was not available for us. I assume maybe they don't offer it on Saturday lunch.More

The restaurant has very good atmosphere. Food is delicious. The staff provide good service. Only thing is the cost. It’s quite expensive. Overall we are happy.

Nice environment with good Italian food. Italian chef serving original Italian food. I like both indoor and outdoor environment as special arrangements.

We (4 friends) had dinner on our only evening in Bangkok. Were quite disappointed with some of the food which did not live up to our expectations. The lobster soup was below standard and the seared Hokkaido scallops were completely overcooked and like rubber -...no signs of saffron sauce, fresh fennel as per the menu. They gave us 50% reduction on these 2 mains but should have prepared new servings.More

Prices weee outrageous and the portions served ridiculously small My wife got at least 70 gr of sea bass and I got 3 clams in my vongole. This is a joke and I will not renew the experience.

From the menu, there is a 3 course meal in lunch and I want to try it when I visit Bangkok, however, it is not serving in Christmas. Finally the bill is 5x than the set menu. Food is average, not very special or impressive....I think 13,000 Baht for four persons have many other restaurant choices in Bangkok.More

The setting was great and the service was wonderful indeed. I had the amberjack from Crudo which was okay. The anchovy from antipasti was fine. We both had pasta - vongole and ravioli. They were also okay. What stood out for me was the almond...gelato. Its my first time seeing it on the menu in BKK so I grabbed the opportunity to try it out as it’s one of my favourites. And it was good! 240THB a scoop was a bit hefty but it didn’t disappoint. If you like almond gelato, this is a place for it!More

Food was overpriced. 8000 baht for a 1.2kg tomahawk steak is outrageous. Octopus (800 baht) was decently priced, but was cooked to the point that it was neither chewy nor soft, it was grainy and served with a cheese sauce reeking of sickeningly strong lactose....It was as if the octopus was frozen and the sauce was made from pre-grated supermarket house brand cheese.More

Last year we had the great experience before covid to enjoy Bottega's set lunch which was an absolute value for money - The salad/antipasti buffet - Choice of Main courses or pasta and dessert. Now after many months we went back and the menu is...slightly different - Less choices for secondi course - Last time there was still beef etc - Now there are only a pork and a fish. If i'm not mistaken the antipasti wasnt counted as a course but now it is so if you choose 2 courses the antipasti is already counted as 1 course and then you can either choose dessert or a first course. The antipasti bar shrank = Less items - Mortadella ham in olive oil was rancid but they didn't believe me.. Too bad... Everything else was the same some leafy greens, grilled zucchini and eggplant, pesto dressing and a creamy dressing. Looked a bit sad - Some cold sliced pork which tasted alright. The pasta gnocchi vongole was flavorful but only 1 clam. The bread tasted great but the tops were burnt. With the fond memories of the old lunch and flavour it's barely hovering around 4. Now it does include tea and coffee. hopefully they will be back to their normal quality and variety. Will still come back again.More

The restaurant is on the 1st floor so one must be able to go up and down stairs, When we were there, it was an exhibition of paintings there. Even a day in the middle of the week it was quite busy here, We chose...the set lunch which was beautifully presented and my main dish which was pork with mushroom was really tasty and the chocolate icecream was perfect, But I thought that the starter with gnocci was a bit dull and without any taste. One of the first restaurants to open post-covid so we dropped by The beef carpaccio was good but too liberal with the salt. The crab with avocado was very good The lobster pasta was THB2600 and very good too, though a little spicy The seabass...was excellent but small portion. The duck breast was chewy and not premium dining standard They diluted their bathroom soap with waterMore

I used to come here with my family when they first opened from time to time. O rember it being much better, or the competition in the area might have gotten better. The staff are nice and attentive but here is what's wrong with our...food. The pasta with tomato sauce and Ragu with the Foie gras. The tomato sauce tasted like it was from a can and had an acidic taste and was under seasoned. So was quite bland. Had to add more pepper and parmesan to get any flavour from this dish. The Foie gras was cooked fine. My problem is that such a simple dish should be screaming out different flavours, sadly it was bland, if I wasn't so hungry I would not have eaten most of it. My partner's fish claiming to be a Dover sole seemed more like a cheaper sole like a lemon sole or maybe just a tiny Dover sole. Seemed like it has been frozen as it had ZERO taste probably because no seasoning. The sauce it came with was also quit foul tasting not matching the fish. All in all, the food is edible but for the price you definatly need to look around Bangkok and in the area for much better quality Italian food. Sad to see a once fantastic place become such an average place. Has the chef given up? I don't think I will ever come back unless the menu changes and chef changes because the food does not deserve my time or money for now.More
