One of the best places to eat in Bangkok. The speciality is to serve ”ancient” thai dishes. Try the Guang Kua Pinapple red curry. One of the best meals in my life.

This restaurant was amazing. You can choose between many typical thai dishes, all around 150-250 Baht. The restaurant itself is furnished very simple. But that is ok and does not change anything at the quality of the food! Just go there!!

We visited this restaurant after reading about it in a travel guide. It is such a sweet little place, decorated really nicely and in a good location it seems (on the same road as many other nice restaurants). The lady running front of house was...More

Our Thai friend introduced us to this place and my wife and I ate here 3 times in our 6 nights in Bangkok because it was so good. The menu is expansive, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the woman who owns...More

It can get crowded and mostly by tourists. Service can get slow, so I would not recommend it if you are in a hurry. If you have your time to enjoy, though, I saw dishes on their menu that I did not find frequently in...More

This place is a real gem. Set in a building with lots of character on trendy Phra Arthit Road, the restaurant offers a huge menu (some 400 items) which contains numerous traditional and unusual Thai dishes that are not found on standard menus. We were...More

Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was a bit haphazard and the restaurant was a bit cramped.

Since we were staying across the street we ate here one night and it was good. There is an extensive menu of everything from Isaan (northeastern) food to royal cuisine. The place filled up quickly and there was a good mix of Thais and tourists....More

Small restaurant serving good Thai fare according to traditional recipes. Menu is quite extensive and with no images (as it’s often to see in other similar establishments), feel free to ask for advice to a waitress. Dishes are quite tourist friendly (not spicy). Nice selection...More

We visited this restaurant twice as the food was great. It was wonderful to have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan meals and from what I could tell the majority of the vegetarian options could be made vegan. The food was delicious and thoroughly...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,
it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn
the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and
most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to
this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to
Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
