To Bangkok via Chiang Mai, this quirky, organic hidden eatery is at the far end of a tiny soi. A kind woman inside a café saw me wandering and asked if I was looking for DaraDalay! Large, open air space with a variety of table...sizes—the place seems to go on and on as you walk. There are also some items (mostly clothing) from Chiang Mai for sale in a tiny shop near the front. Lots of pillows and other paraphernalia with cats. An English menu will be brought to you, but there was still lots of pointing and gesturing to get my order right. PROS: - Very good khao soi, creamy and filling with a nice tray of add-ins provided - Generous portions - Lots of tables - I saw only Thai customers, which makes me feel like it’s an authentic place. They seemed a bit excited (or was that confusion?) to see a non-Thai customer! - All organic - Excellent value! Khao soi + 1 bottle of water = 70 baht! CONS: - Not convenient to public transportation. I took a Grab there and a bus and BTS home. - Limited English - Even though there were about 4 or 5 other tables occupied, it was eerily quiet. Maybe that’s the sound of people enjoying their food! - bothered my stomach later--not their fault, I am sureMore

Nice garden setting. Food is sufficiently tasty if one enjoys the more spicy and herbal flavour profile of northern Thai cuisines

The Khao soi was delicious, exactly like what I had in Chiang Mai. They also had tasty coffee and smoothies. There were fresh herbs and vegetables to try and to take away. The environment was relaxing and beautiful. Highly recommend.

BEST KHAO SOI! Amazing customer service! They even had a vegetarian Khao soi with mushrooms instead of meat! Even fresh organic Thai greens! I loved it so much! Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Khao Soi, Friendly Staff, all ingredients grown at farm in Chiang Mai or here in the restaurant garden. Plus!!! Free salad bar with farm veggies! This place is a 10/10 hands down and we’re definitely coming back when we’re in Bangkok next.

This place is a FIND, especially because it's authentic northern Thai food with organic ingredients either grown directly in the restaurant or brought in from Chiang Mai. It's noodles only - no rice dishes - and though the whole menu is in Thai you can...point to anything and it's bound to be excellent. The place is clean, like their food, and the women who work there will be good to you if you take the trouble to learn how to say thank you in Thai: "kapoonka" (females) or "kapoonkrahp" (males). The neighboring tiny cafe called Sit Down is also excellent if you like cats.More
