Remember my word, when Michelin starts awarding Thai restaurants with stars, this one is going to get some. So fresh, so creative and so damn delicious!

Sashimi and maki are must-try. Real generous portion. Chirashi is a wallet-friendly choice since sashimi can be costly if you wish to try different cuts. Kaarage and tonkatsu are also good! Overall, our tummies were very pleased without burning a hole in our wallets. Take note that there will be quite a wait since it isn't really spacious so, be... More

Having a major craving for the spicy salmon roll at isao, i dug in.. however today's version was less spicy than the previous visits. Was not too bad but wished for better consistency. The starter salad was huge. I thought "starter " meant to be small but it was a good bargain at thb140.

Pricey but great great rolls, and great sushi. Saki menu is a bit lacking. Ate dinner here twice in 4 days. Be sure to make reservation on Friday or weekends, big line by 5pm opening.

Small restaurant just off Sukhumvit. The place is only open 530 to 10 with last order at 930. We came around 6 with only a very short wait. Later on there are long waits. Reservations are taken but no less than 3 days in advance. The sashimi is as good as it gets. The special sushi rolls are fairly standard... More

4.5. I love sushi and was looking forward to trying this place. We arrived 10 minutes before opening for dinner and there was already a big line (it was Friday). We got seated fairly quickly and food came out very fast. Tasty maki rolls and probably one of the best salmon sashimi I've had. Delicious food, and they even gave... More

Incredible! The place is quaint and fills up quick. They're only taking guests up to 9:30, so if you're not there at least 45mins before, you may likely not get to dine. Worth the wait!

Came across this resty on the internet and decided to give it a try thisctime. Waited 30mins more for a place to dine but I must say its worth every minute. Fusion Japanese sushi at its best tastes was perfect without too much rice stuffing. Must try the signature dishes Jackie and Volcano.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
