Definitely not worth what we paid: very expensive for common, below average quality, street Thai food! A pure trap for tourists...

The papaya salad, chicken satay and spring rolls are wonderful to start with. The coconut ice cream was an amazing finish. The crab phad Thai was very good but not the best we’ve had. Employees are very well trained and the restaurant is a cute...place down an alley.More

Came here by recommendation and was not disappointed. Best pad Thai I’ve had by far and was in a cool location. Snag a coffee at Sarnies after lunch.

When you have the option of Eatery 88, I would take it instead. Pricey and nothing special. Easy to get to by tube.

I was excited to try this establishment as it has won numerous awards for its pad thai. Sadly I was disappointed by the quality. My mom ordered padthai jay and I ordered the padthai kai yang with the Somtum Kai Kem as a starter. Both...padthais were a disappointment, no flavor at all. But the Somtum Kai Kem salvaged the meal as we both found it very delicious. All in all there is room for improvement.More

Pad thai were really good. They cost about 9€ and the portion was nice. Chicken satay were delicious and cost 9€. For Bangkok, the prices are high. For a michelin star, prices are ok.

Second time here and the food was again excellent. Phadthai is one of the best we have tasted in Thailand, I would recommend the marinated pork followed by chicken phadthai, very tasty. The service is friendly and helpful if needed, with a decent atmosphere and...very clean - we would definitely recommend.More

We stumbled across Ban Phadthai by accident and were not disappointed. Set up in a local traditional house with great interior. We had phadthai, spring rolls, thai salad amongst other things and it was so tasty and reasonably priced. Great smiley service and lovely atmosphere....You won't be disappointed.More

A comfortable restaurant within short walking distance from the Shangrila Hotel. Food was delicious. We have the curry prawn. Must try if budget is not of particular concern. Satay chicken was also very good.

This is definitely tourist trap ripping off foreigners. I don't mind paying top dollars for good food even it's in Thailand. I used to pay over $100 to eat pepper crab in California. Why not pay a bit more and eat good Padthai. that's the...reason I tried this restaurant. I don't really know what's in their mind who gave good reviews. This is one of the worst Padthai in my life including US, Canada, Malaysia and Korea. People used to say that even street seller cooks good decent Padthai at only 40 B in Bangkok. This establishment charges 240B for food barely worth 20B. Meat is not fresh. It has smell. I brought my family and nobody enjoyed it. I like Thai and I tried many different restaurants in California. Before Baan, I ate quite good Padthai in Phak Wan in Ayutthaya paying only 50B. Compared to this, 20B is right price in my opinion. Total bill for this dinner was 1400B. I had meals with my entire family in ICONSIAM, Siam Paragon, where things are expensive. But I barely paid more than 600B eating good food. This place is not even worth mentioning in Internet.More

Around 5 minutes. Go past the Shangri-La Hotel and it’s in one of the streets on the right. Or you can walk along the main road, passed Robinson’s Dept Store and it will be in one of the streets on the left.
