Typical thaï food: curry, salad, spring rolls etc. 1 meal is around 200 pp. Nice atmosphere. We highly recommend it. Service is quite fast and the people are nice.

I took my family to Harmonique on our first night in Thailand. We were jet lagged but hungry and wanted a safe bet outside of the confines of our nearby hotel. Our 3 young girls are quite fussy eaters but Harmonique has an accessible menu with plenty of choice. The food was fresh and good quality and the service efficient,... More

Amazingly, this restaurant around the corner from our hotel seemed a little dumbed down and westernized as far as the food was concerned. The food was good, just not stunning and a little bland by Thai standards.

The food is simply delicious matching the extremely quaint surroundings. An old shophouse and nature. Definitely must order curry crab, Pamelo salad, fish paste curry, orange prawns and olive rice!

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental which is just a couple blocks away. We ate at some great restaurants in Bangkok and at our hotel but this place was my favorite. Large selection of Thai food and English with pictures on the menu. Very eclectic decor. I think I doubles as a coffee shop, my ice coffee was awesome. It... More

Bangkok is a great city to visit with great hotels and excellent service all around. However Bangkok night life can be very harsh and sometimes weird, in the middle of all the commotion seats this family owned and operated restaurant serving great thy food with a home like atmosphere. Please keep in mind that it is no a the fancy... More

This restaurant was an unexpected find in Charoen Krung Soi 34. It has great atmosphere and very good food. It is an old house dating from the time of King Rama V (who reigned from 1868 to 1910), and has been used as a family home, a hotel and now a restaurant (according to a very friendly lady who welcomes... My 4th or 5th visit to Harmonique and always satisfied. Simple and authentic food. Good choice of menu. Good speed of service. English might be a bit of a challenge for some of the staff but it does not affect negatively the overall experience. Lovely cozy atmosphere in this old house with attached veranda with plants and trees.

Thank flynflyagain

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
