We had Indian food with was good. A bit expensive restaurant but a must try as Lakeside is an expensive affair. Indian food lovers will love to have a meal. Cooked good.

This is such a great place to eat, drink and while away the time. Smashing food and red wine at very reasonable prices. Kamala the waitress is especially lovely.

The hotel we stayed at didn't have a restaurant, so we were constantly in search of a good restaurant. Hungry Eye offers the best Indian food in Pokhara - we ordered a large variety in both veg and non veg and we loved each dish. The ambience of the hotel is also upbeat and classic.

I came across this place by chance for breakfast one morning! From the moment I walked upstairs to the restaurant, the staff were so accommodating, friendly and professional!! They pointed me towards the BUFFET breakfast...which includes everything (eggs, beans, croissants, pancakes, fresh fruit, muesli, porridge, etc) and at such reasonable price for what you're getting!!! Definitely come here if your... More

We visited this restaurant twice. We went on the upper floor for breakfast since there was no one downstairs but no one cared enough to serve us. So we left. We again tried going in for a dinner to have Indian as they claimed they serve the best Indian dishes. We were naive enough to believe it. The food was... More

Right on the busy main street of Pokhara, across from the lake and park, the Hungry Eye offers a birds-eye view of the busy Nepali city along with very good traditional food. Try the locall wine -- it's sweet and fruit-based, but works well with the spicy food. If fruit wine isn't your style, a big bottle of Everest beer... More

We visited this place in December 2015, during pokhara street festival, for lunch. The food is very simple yet delicious. We had rice and chicken curry in Nepali style. The restaurant has an antique touch to it and spacious. cocktails were good too.

This place has a good location and nice decor, but can only make local or Indian food to any standard - don't go near the international dishes. First time we came the spaghetti carbonara was tasteless and greyish, but forgivable. Second time we came for dinner and ordered steaks. They were piled high with sauce, likely to cover the fact... Service was very slow and they were not very busy. Waiter didn't take order properly. Food was just mediocre to bad. Asked for the bill and no one ever brought it. I went downstairs to the register and most of the employees were standing around the computer trying to figure out how to print a bill. I didn't get a... More
