My boyfriend and I were looking everywhere for a decent shake and this place delivers. We both got the banana-chocolate-coffee shake and it was gone in 2 minutes. Delicious!

Every time I'm in Thamel I make sure to stop at Just Juice 'n Shakes. The menu is the same as it was in 1999 and the smoothies are always a delicious treat.

Coffee-Banana-chocolate shake - my favorite every morning. The place exists since 20 years, that means a lot. Its a quirky hole in the wall place on the alley to Acme guesthouse - a friendly old man in the morning makes the best muesli and shake ever and the best - both for not even 2$!!!

A great place to have breakfast after a trek - good eggs, great combinations of yogurt/fruit/musly - and the prices are good as well. A nice, quiet, simple place in the middle of touristy Thamel.

Less than friendly staff, unless you're a regular (they start to warm up)..the quality and price of fresh juice, shakes, and smoothies (without milk products) highly overlooks the staff. Just sit, wait, and enjoy! Cheapest, simplest breakfast in town!

Whilst I might have enjoyed the bowl of yoghurt I bought, which was indeed smooth and creamy, I was almost put off by the misreable, supremely gloomy staff who work in there. Not a smile; not a word of welcome. Perhaps this is more poignant for solo visitors. I have visited a few times and expected that on subsequent visits... More

After a trek or climb when you are jonesing for a cold drink, this is the place. The shakes and lassies are a welcome treat. The place can be crowded and the service slow, but it is a welcome treat.

Just Juice and Shakes is located down the narrow street opposite The Northfield Cafe, just down from Pilgrims Books, opposite the brilliant Hotel Red Planet. Although only a small place, they sell excellent juices, shakes and smoothies, as well as cheap breakfasts and tea and coffee, mocchaccinos etc. It's a great place to meet friends and other travellers. They have... More

As the summer humidity encroaches Kathmandu, it's great having a place to grab a quick, cold shake. I personally favor the banana chocolate flavor and the coffee chocolate. Since a shake or smoothie tends to cost around a dollar, I sometimes go twice in a day. The coffee is only decent; it's the shakes that are the stuff of legends.... More

A small old shop with 15 years of Hospitality History situated in the corner of Thamel.Specialized in Shakes and SmoothyAccording to Lonely Planet about Just Juice n Shake:Little more than a hole in the wall, hidden down a side alley, with just four cramped seats, but the juices, espresso and fruit/yogurt smoothies are just great. Try a carrot juice with lemon and ginger. We are in face Book As well you can type Just Juice & Shakes In search Box Of your Face Book and join the group.
