I've been going to Yin Yang since 2001 and have consistently loved it. Most recently I was there in February, and took a chance on slow-cooked leg of lamb. It was exquisite. I hope they start delivering soon; this will definitely be a stop on...my next trip to Thamel.More

When it comes to dining, I am far from an expert but the staff including waiter Tsering were friendly and attentive with reasonable to excellent English, the garden setting with a beautiful mature tree as the centrepiece alluring and the food acceptable. I had what...Australians would call special fried rice with chicken, pork and prawns followed by butterscotch icecream. Service was excellent with a gas heater placed near my table. This would be a great place for a man of any age to take his wife or girlfriend. The ingredients for romance are there in spades. Because this was a solo trip for me, the candle felt iut if place but for couples, great. Including high 13 per cent tax, the bill was Nep Rs. 1318. A final bonus was no motorbike noise.More

The best flat noodles I’ve had this side of Bangkok, and my wife’s pad Thai was good as well. Reasonably priced.

This little gem is slightly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Thamel. It offers both inside and outside dining; I preferred the outside. The food is excellent and reasonbly priced. The staff is friendly and the service is great. I would definitely recommend...if you are in the area.More

We are foodies and we are already seriously missing the wonderful and authentic Thai food we had here. It was so good that we ended up visiting this lovely place 3 times during our time in Kathmandu. We loved the local dishes and flavours, but...if you want to treat yourself to a different and delicious cuisine, this will do the trick. Hard to find London Thai restaurants to match this quality, the majority of them fall short of this. We liked every single dish, all the curries, stir fries, delicious small bites were all spectacular. In addiction to this the service was very friendly, unpretentious and basically impeccable. Do try this place out, you won’t regret it!More
