Eat at the dish weekly.food is always great, portions are large & always something different every week. Just had a hot ham and bacon on rye and it was excellent.the soup was homemade with fresh zucchini and tomatoes.

Eating at the Dish is a cross between "going to grandma's" and dining in Kansas City. Such good, wholesome food that is unique. The menu changes according to what is 'in season', but it never disappoints. Love it !! Patty C.

I have dined at this restaurant several times, and have never been disappointed!! They change their menu each week so you never know what to expect. A sandwich with the daily soup or salad for $7.75 is just a deal!!! They use great sauces, aiolis,...More

I've eaten at the Dish several times already this spring. Each wee there is a new menu and it never ceases to amaze me how the chef does it! She loves to create and execute her creations. And to be working with her sister! How...More

This is a great example of how Tripadvisor can enhance a travel experience. While making a quick stop in Abiline to tour the Eisenhower Presidential Museum/Library, we checked in for tips on places to have lunch. That led us to Dish which is located on...More

Dish is a place that you would not go to, if you were not from Abilene. It is in a former store front, in old downtown Abilene, and serves the best lunches for miles around. The menu changes every Monday (Soups, salads and sandwiches) and...More

A fun little cafe you would expect to find in a big city located in a small town. Fun and flavorful sandwiches paired with a soup or salad all made with fresh ingredients. We offer dine-in, carry-out, and catering services.
