Standard Mom and Pop fare done right. I liked that it was quiet, reasonable and easy. I would eat here again. If I lived in Abilene, I'd eat breakfast here every day.

Better than any meal that you are going to get at the chain fast food restaurants in the town. Burger was cooked just right. My burger had an egg, hash browns, and bacon. It was a guilty pleasure considering I was on a diet. Even...More

Recommended by my daughter after they met friends here earlier this year. We stayed in the RV Park for a couple days and enjoyed dining here for lunch and breakfast. Very courteous and friendly service and good food. Hawaiian Burger, BLT, Pork Tender sandwich and...More

Went here on the recommendation from the owner of the RV campground we stayed at for the night. We ordered a steak and cheese, trail steak, and something off the special board. Standard fare. Mac and cheese side felt like Stouffer’s rather than homemade, but...More

Visiting Abilene and son took us to this restaurant. Great place to get great food at a reasonable price. Food was cooked perfectly and all were very friendly. A must place to visit and enjoy local food. Highly recommend

I had lunch here. Nothing fancy in this place but fantastic burgers and really friendly service. Lots of parking available. Good place for kids to eat. Still busy at 1:30 in the afternoon but we did not have to wait long for service or for...More

As locals, we like to eat breakfast here on Sunday mornings. It's not only great food, but a good place to see members of our community. I usually order the All American half-order with rye toast, and it's just the right sized portion.

We were very disappointed in our visit. The server was great and very sweet but there wasn't one thing we ordered that was worth eating. We did go for dinner not breakfast so that may have been the problem. We would not go back and...More

One of the few places in town for breakfast. And the pancakes are hug! This is your typical 'local eats' place complete with friendly help and consistently good food.

Nothing fancy or over the top just good old fashion home cooked food . Food was great and the service was good as well . Will visit again when we’re in town.

Description
Nice little place where all the locals eat....Much more about the food, but a good selection of drink options, to include a huge German beer selection!!!! Our motto is 'Nothing Fancy Just Great Food' and our staff that has over 225 years of combined experience works hard to make you feel at home!
