the food is very good and they are generally pretty fast. very friendly, off the main road about a block from K15. they are always glad to accommodate the diners. one of the locals favorite dining places. my favorite is their hamburgers. they have a challenge burger called the "Triple Hammer" .... great value, good food, friendly people... the trifecta... This place looked like a total dump from outside, but that must just be to scare away the dumb tourists. Fortunately I am adventurous, because this place is a hidden gem! When you get inside, it feels like an American Legion or VFW hall with a bar up front and older locals scattered at tables with red plastic table cloths.... More

What a great meal! We stopped for a late lunch here on our way back from Colorado. Everything was home cooked..best burger I've had in years! They also offer homemade Wiener schnitzel. Save room for homemade pie...we had the peanut butter. It is not be missed!

We stopped here an hour before closing. Our server appeared to be in training and did an excellent job. He asked all the necessary questions and was patient and polite. This is a home town place with several patrons acknowledging each other. The tenderloin was fine, steak fries were excellent, Hawaiian hamburger was different, but good. The TV was quiet.... More

Along our travels and after spending time at the local presidential library we asked the guide for a recommendation for breakfast. Our food was fresh and flavorful basic breakfast offerings with other more expansive choices. It was a busy morning after church crowd so our food seemed to take a long time to arrive. The value and flavor was all... More

Nice little place where all the locals eat....Much more about the food, but a good selection of drink options, to include a huge German beer selection!!!! Our motto is 'Nothing Fancy Just Great Food' and our staff that has over 225 years of combined experience works hard to make you feel at home!
