This is a very nice restaurant with a wonderful view. The meal one of my friends and I received was overcooked but others with me have had good experiences there. Moderately priced.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to eat here. But I give it excellent reviews based on the uniqueness of its architecture and the stunning sea view offered from its multi-leveled terraces.

Does look like much from the outside but enter and you are seated on a rocky cliff side with waves breaking feet away. Service is prompt. The handcrafted raviolis were exquisite. Desserts great. Other dishes good as well.

A US friend living in Dakar recommended meeting here for lunch. It was a little out of our way (we were staying in Plateau) but a 2,500 franc cab ride got us there. The view is spectacular, across the sure to beautiful rocks. The breeze off the ocean made the hot July weather almost cool. The food was fine (not... More

This was a great spot for dinner with a view! Simply stunning views of the Dakar sunset over the water. Best experienced from one of the waterside tables so possibly good to either book or arrive in good time as this place has always been busy when I've been here. I ordered a dish at random and was presented with... More

Eating in Dakar can be very repetitive. Many restaurants offer the same fare and Le Ngor is no different. Everything is perfectly edible but not great, and the prices are high for what you get. Dinner and a couple beers will run you 25 bucks, for about $10 worth of food. For a really poor country, Senegal is an expensive... More

Nice location, staff quite friendly but poor food.Quite expensive for the quality it offers. If it wasn't for the location I would recommend to stay away from the place.

Great place for that refreshing cocktail or the cold beer, overlooking the sea and enjoying the sunset… great food… attentive service, also for groups (we were 20!)… set menu for around 10.000 CFA (16 EUR) for 2 courses...

I loved everything about this restaurant: the vast, delicious variety of fresh food, especially seafood; the excellent, attentive service; the breathtaking ocean views and the refreshing breeze; the surrounding, simple, yet creative local art; and the very reasonable price value. I highly, highly recommend it.

I visited the Le Ngor with some business people for a business lunch, the restaurant is highly recommended by the local business people. The views are really amazing. You sit and see the ocean and the local fisherman on their boats. The service was excellent, the restaurant boast of a large wine collection and a extensive menu. The seafood was... More

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of our hotel and were charmed by the decor and the location of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and put us at a table overlooking the ocean and a small private beach (very very clean !!). The food, fresh seafood tagliatelle for me and the grilled steak for my husband, was delicious. We enjoyed the restaurant so much, food and ambiance, that we decided to return the next night for dinner. This was even better if possible. Ocean view, moonlight and waves crashing on the beach, with a wonderful "chicken Yasa" and grilled fish was more than we could have asked for. Then it got better as the manager "Alpha" suggested we have our final drinks on the beach. No better way to end our vacation than sitting on a moonlit beach sipping drinks. When we return to Dakar the restaurant Ngor will definitely be a stop and we would recommend to anyone who likes great food and ambiance !!! Bon Voyage
