Good buffet for a very cheap price. Lunch is better because it includes salad. Stop here to get a nice warm vegetarian meal.

I loved the food here - came for the buffet. There’s a good vegetarian selection and it all tastes delicious. It’s eat as much as you can. Slightly different food on different days. At lunch time you could watch monkeys hanging out in the garden.

We were with friends here for dinner almost by chance while looking for a different place. It turned we were VERY lucky. Let's be clear: this is the place you want to be if you are looking for real and genuine Rwandan cuisine at democratic...prices. There is no service (the French would say "ici pas de chichis") but a warm welcome from the owner will drive you to the dining room where he will open you a few pots (there were 6 when I visited the place) explaining what you can find in each of them. And then the fun starts: you can serve yourself as many time as you wish. The place is ideal also for vegetarians as the majority of dishes are indeed vegetarian. Being almost vegetarian myself this is something I extremely appreciated of the cuisine in Kigali: you can have excellent meals without meat. Yet another place I recommend without hesitation.More

Very nice buffet restaurant. Had potato, banana, rice, beans, beef stew, etc. pretty satisfied with the quality of food. I visited there weekdays, the place was bit crowded with workers, means it has a good, reasonably priced meals. Also had a nice service.

We enjoyed the dinner buffet twice. It gave us a good impression of the culinaric adventures ahead. Very cheap and delicious. There is free parking with security guard and the oppertunity to eat in the garden.

This is a great spot for African food. It is clean and good for tourists, but when we went for lunch we were the only non local. The crowd was mostly office people. The food is served buffet style. The food looks very fresh and...was tasty. The meal was about $4 with a drink. I ate rice with peanut sauce, cassava mash, plantain mash, meat stew, mixed vegetables stew and fruits for dessert.More

Our guide from Gorilla Trek Africa brought us here for lunch to get a taste of local cuisine. It’s a buffet with a few options but everything was quite yummy. I especially liked the roti. Simple but good.

After traveling all over Rwanda for two weeks, the lunch I had at Africa Bites was the best. Simple, fast and authentic Rwandan cuisine.

Our guide from Gorilla Trek Africa took us here for lunch on our way out of Kigali on the first day of our gorilla trek. The restaurant was small and had lovely seating in the garden. It was a serve yourself buffet type of arrangement...with mostly traditional vegetable dishes and one meat dish. All the food was wonderful and the service was pleasant. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an authentic taste of Rwanda whilst in Kigali.More
