Maybe little cliche with its red squared tablecloth, but the food was really delicious and the owner Dionigi don’t spare himself to make you feel comfortable in his pioneering Italian restaurant. Considering the challenges to import fresh ingredients from Italy, Soleluna deserve to be considered...the best traditional Italian food (mamma style) in town.More

Consistency is key for restaurants, this one has never disappointed. Good portions and vegetarian friendly. Love their fresh mozzarella, not sure where they source it from

We walked to SoleLuna for our first visit. Not well signed from the street, but we knew the general area. What a delight! After ascending a flight of stairs, there are 3 open and breezy areas to choose from. The woman seating us assured us...that a spot by the outer railing near the bar area would not get afternoon sun - and it DID get lovely breezes off the valley below. Service was prompt and helpful. We shared a calamari starter (average), and my hubby had the soleluna pizza (substituting ham for peperonie). I had the grilled salmon (a bit on the pricey side at RWF 14,500). The pizza had a wonderful thin crust, and the ham and the combo of gorgonzola and brie cheeses was absolutely yummy. Some of the best in town, for sure! My salmon over tomatoes and capers, with a side of fries was good, but not exceptional. However, I would readily order it again, as it was very good. Service was friendly and helpful. Our server was Odilay (sp???) and she was great. Available when we needed her, but didn't hover. Will definitely go back!More

Our favourite place to eat in Kigali. Child friendly. Good value. Very tasty. Fresh ingredients. Good atmosphere.

Delivery arrived after 2h34 while they said 30min on the phone (it was their own delivery service and we had to call several times but it seemed like they didn't care). Pizzas were of course cold but good.

Keep going back. One of the most established restaurants in Rwanda. Good pizza and plenty of choices. Great choice of wines and reasonable prices. Service mediocre (as it seems to be in the majority of Kigali’s establishments).

This was the first restaurant I ever went to in Kigali and I must say the thin crust pizza is practically the same as they do it in Italy. Not only does it have a great atmosphere with great staff, but I highly recommend the...other items they have off the menu as well.More

Delicious food and nice ambience. Lots of outdoor seating and a good wine selection. The talapia boat and tuna were delicious. Great pizzas as well. The service was fast by Rwanda standards.

Instead of the traditional pizza we took the buffet lunch for RWF 9.500 per person. Great variety of dishes and all very tasty. Pleasant service of all staff. Good place to come back again...

I thought to write that Soleluna has the best pizza in Kigali, but actually? It's the best in the country. I can't comment on the atmosphere or service b/c we've only ever ordered through Jumia, but the pizza itself is fantastic for here. Fresh ingredients,...ample portions for the price (one pizza can easily feed one person, and there will probably be leftovers), and lots of options, including lots of veg options, which is always nice.More
