Fine French dining. Kind wait staff. A few menus may be available in English. Wait staff can usually understand basic English or Spanish. Interesting photos of the dessert taken by owner hang around the dining room.

Firts things first; the food is extremely nice. Well pepared, well cooked and elegantly served. All which is French inspired and good, from succulent duck to elegant escargot . Desserts are also great. The surroundings are calm, quiet and inspiering, so muchg that we were contemplating staying here for a night or to, despite that fact that we live close... More

Nice venue with a lovely garden, interesting and diverse menu. My first meal was terrific, the second, less so. There isn't alot of choice for european menus in Niamey so its worth checking out. If you dont speak french, it could be difficult....

Far removed from dusty Niamey, though situated right in the city is this restaurant inside a small hotel. It is decorated with photographs of the Sahel and the French food and ambience is brilliant. The service is just adequate but detracts little from the overall experience.

The interior is great with many photos on the wall. Waiters were very professional and patient. I felt I was in an authentic french restaurant. The soup on the photo was great except foie gras. This restaurant would be one of my choices if I have a chance to visit NIamey again.

Surroundings are not pleasant, but the place was quiet and fresh (if possible). Interesting choice of Niger food (such as capitaine with tasty sauce) and french cuisine. Servers were nice.

Niamey is not exactly known for its culinary offerings. Before my first trip I had fears of how I could feed myself, Fortunately, my worry was nonsense. Tabakady is definetely one of the 3 spots i frequent when in Niamey. Food is nice and selection is good. Have never gotten sick here - a worry I always have in West... More

Food is very good but restaurant management is rude and spiteful (though waitstaff are helpful and friendly). See review from hotel. In short was refused lunch service after a miscommunication regarding an order. During my 6 day stay I saw several people turned away from the restaurant if they arrived minutes after 2pm when lunch service ceases. Serious overhaul of... More

The food was ever so delicious! One evening I had fish and the other beef, both prepared with fantastic sauce. The waiters are helpful if you do not speak French.

It has been a year or two since i went there- but the server was rude, as was the owner. The slideshow of pictures was also very sub-par and one of our people got sick from the food. I will not go again.
