Also known as Cafe Zoo, this place is well located in a park. I had a nice lunch here, overlooking kids playing on a Saturday afternoon. The service was attentive and the food was quite good, especially very reasonably priced. My husband had a great shrimp dish and I had a fantastic vegetarian dish with peanut butter sauce. Good food,... More

Excellent location. Went for a lunch on a hot summer weekend in September. The location is fantastic, lush green park, big shaddy tree for those sittin outside. Independence Avenue is clean and picturesque in itself. Service at Zoo Park was dreadful. Only one waiter was friendly after noticing the awful attitude of her co-workers. Our drinks order was wrong, twice... More

Zoo Cafe as some would call it, is situated in zoo park downtown windhoek. It has a very nice atmosphere most of the time. Nice music and a great selection of food (i found the west african selection of rice and stew dishes, as well as gari hit close to home :) )Service is definitely not the best but if... More

The location for this restaurant is excellent, right at Zoo Park, and lots of outdoor seating amongst the trees. I have been there twice since they reopened and have found the service to be slow, the food to be good to very good (depending on the item) and wine selection has been good. I consider it to be a very... More

Had lunch, ginger pinch drink was really nice, the ginger pork curry really scrumptious, the chicken dish of the day was great, service was good, great site and nice relaxed atmosphere. Wished I had space for the cakes but...... Worth a try

Friendly waitress, but after an hour of waiting, we were told there were no pork chops, also 4 cocktails on the menu ''. So it took 2 hours for the food to arrive ultimately. (1 barman and 1 chef on a busy night?). The ingredients were out. Food is over priced although average. A customer from the table next to... More

Absolutely regret patronizing this Cafe. Terrible service - we waited 50 minutes for three omelets and a curry. The omelets were burnt and the waitress neglected to tell us that the menu was incredibly misleading when it comes to the sides that come with maindishes. We were definitely overcharged and lied to about the final total of the meal. Tourists... More

Very sad to see this place closed. I have enjoyed it many times for a coffe, a snack or a light dinner with friends. I hope to sit here again soon...
