I took a tour in the old city and end up to this restaurant, the place is nice and full of history and memories, they serve good seafood and traditional Libyan food, it was good opportunity to experience different food dishes, I advise you to try Harira.

This place serves up the best seafood couscous I've had in libya!, it's a great change from all the fried crapp western food tripoli is dishing up! Fantastic service and a neat location deep within the Medina. A little difficult to find but trust me keep looking

this is the main landmark of Tripoli, don't miss to visit the old city, where you can found a lot of Souvenirs to by, the best place to buy Libyan traditional clothes. the place needs restoration.

This was remarkably like stepping back into a different century. From the loud banging of the brass workers plying their trade in the narrow lanes , the hand carved doors, streets worn by centuries of hoofs and carts, one sensed an air of calm an mystic. Silk, Bedouin traders and weavers.

it is historic and well preserved with great silver and gold shops among many other things. the merchants are not crazy pushy like they are in morocco for example .
