I always frequent this place each time I am in Accra. Love the African feel of the place. Loads of bamboo, wood, plants and natural. Top of that great food!

Nice ambiance if you want to go basic. Awful food. Sorry- that's really the best I can say. Good Guinness. Clean loo. Mm mm... Struggling to be positive.

We came here for dinner on a week night. It was busy and seemed quite popular. My friend had the crab soup and I had a fish stew. It was real traditional African food... which I think we underestimated! It was OK, but not the meal out we'd anticipated.

Buka offers excellent, well-priced West African cuisine in a comfortable, breezy setting. The outdoor/deck seating is casual but still appropriate for business lunches, and the food is truly pleasing to a variety of palates - my Ghanaian colleagues enjoyed a variety of stews, while my guinea hen was cooked and flavored to perfection. All ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared;... More

Good and quite tasty West African food, served on a nice and airy patio. Comfortable setting. Nicely mixed crowd. Service is professional, but not necessarily warm hearted or exeedingly friendly.

Food was hot, didn't take too long, ordered khebab but we never got them till we left because they grill it on the spot fresh but not sure why we didn't get it. Palm wine tastes acidic, over all price was ok, good food..

We were taken here by our Ghanaian business partner, as a treat to taste and experience Ghanaian and Nigerian cuisine. The food was expansive and interesting. If you are not interested in trying something different don't go there. But if you are looking for great West African food try it.

Buka restaurant, on the 11th lane where the US Embassy visa section used to be, is easily reachable from the popular Osu "Oxford" street. It offers all the exquisite Nigerian dishes you can imagine, well cooked and perfectly served just as traditionally done in Nigeria. eg. Ewedu, Moi moi, Obono, Pounded Yam, Bitter leaf, etc. They have a number of... More

I went there with two other Italian friends. We all agreed that the layout was rather nice and very local. We tried a variety of dishes and, although a couple were ok but did not impress, overall we enjoyed the food and the experience. One advice is to go there early. We got there at 8pm and we did not... The food is okay. Wait times for service is terrible! Nothing special. Check out Asanka Local chopbar if you are in Osu and looking for a place to eat. This place is nothing special.
