An absolute must-visit restaurant. The menu changes daily with the catch, and is prepared excellently by experienced chefs. Pair it with the perfect wine for an incredible night out. Will absolutely make this a priority stop next visit!

No fixed menu but daily fabulous culinary dishes with the latest catch. We had the "rouge" fish with a delicious sauce and accompaniments.

We ate here because of the high rating on tripadvisor. We had just returned from Sao Tome where the seafood was excellent; and were hoping for the same here. The fish here was cooked perfectly and the sides were nice, but overall I would say it was good, but not excellent.

We are staying in Libreville and Le Sud is close by. Boy, is the fish great. There is no menu, but the choices are delicious. We had Le Capitain and we loved it. Excellent service and delicious food. Good wine liay, fair prices. Delicious chocolate mousse too. Really enjoyed Le Sud.

This restaurant is a French, Spanish mixture. I tried a beef steak while my colleagues tried a fish dish , a calf cutlet and paella. All of them are high quality and prices were comparatively reasonable. Recommend to visit there at least once!

Just a few minutes away from the French Embassy, on the left hand side following bord de mer, easy to find although there is no sign post because you will see the lights from insight (in front of a Chinese medical cabinet). Menu is pretty much the same every time I went but quality always excellent. Fish is cocked differently from other LBV restaurants, so if you feel tired of brochette de poisson and grilled fish, this is the place. I ate a gorgeous "thon au sésame", which was perfectly cocked and tender and thon sashimi another time, fresh and melting into mouth! Portions adequate, price in line with LBV (average of 14/16.000 xaf per course) and the atmosphere relaxed. I could not smell the smoke that was reported in another review. Not noisy at all, so perfect to have a chatting dinner!

Went there for lunch earlier this week, the restaurant is easy to find in the Glass neighborhood although there is no real sign outside.
Service is decent and food is pretty good, particularly the fresh fish served everyday.
It would have deserved a higher rating but these folks don't make any effort to accommodate non smokers. The restaurant reeks nicotine and client, most of them europeans/ expats, smoke everywhere. Really disappointing!

If you want Fresh fish off the boat and on your plate this is the place for you. No huge menus with 30 different items. It's just fresh fish cooked four different ways. A must visit when in Libreville!

I have been going to this restaurant for the last two years and the food, the hospitality of the owner and the service has always been fantastic to say the least, simple menu, no à la carte thrills, today is this kind of fish and meat thats all , and ten times out of ten it's fantastic, i really enjoy eating there. it has been getting more popular over the last two years, so one has to book / make a reservation, basically you will not be disappointed
