This place has a nice ambience and friendly staff . The food is good enough, though I managed to order every veggy thing on the menu in one meal.
They do need to work on their spring rolls which were more like dosa than Chinese/ Thai rolls. The pad thai was unusually tasteless as was what they called the vegetable consome.
Not a bad meal, but for that price, should have been a lot better.

Nice place and good food. Love sushi and the environment is quiet and refreshing. Hope to see sushi bar where the skill of Chef can show.

Staff was extremely friendly, big range of sushi to chose from, fantastic noddles. Would recommend the restaurant. It’s very quiet and nice. Would definitely come back.

This was my second visit to Sakura and I've been very pleased with the food and service. The service was very good on the most recent visit; attentive and responsive.
For the starter I went for a vegetable tempura. The veggies were of rather chunky dimensions. However, The batter was light and crispy.
The main was a combo of sushi and sushimi. I was impressed by the quality of both and thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The overall cost was particularly wallet busting given the high quality.

Regulars there by now, it is always a delight. Service is impeccable. Food delicious. And if judiciously chosen not too hard on the pocket.

All dishes here were very much Japanese, while a lot of fake Japanese restaurants are here and there outside of Japan, much better than expected.
The atmosphere was very nice of mixture of Gabonese exterior and Japanese interior.

Who knew, good sushi in Libreville! The fish was fresh and tasty. The beer was cold, and they had a good selection. I also had a tuna roll that was good as well, it was part of a sushi selection that had four different pieces of fish. It was reasonably priced and the fish cuts were of good size. I had the sushi for an appetizer and had Pad Thai as an entree. This was good, but my companions said that it was better before they changed the menu. Either way, the food was good, the service was nice, and I would come back.

This restaurant have 2 menus, Japanese and Thai. The food is fine but not extraordinary, it missed the touch of Asian people and ambiance since it manage by the locals. The price for 18 pieces of sushi and sashimi is 22.000 CFA, which is standard in Gabon. The sushis are fresh..

Staff is helpful even though they don't speak English. service was good and meals came quickly. Cooked Food was ok, I had a prawn dish which was quite bad but the Sushi was delicious. I'll go back but just for the sushi.

This was a delightful experience to have top notch Asian cuisine in Libreville. The ambiance is cozy and stylish. Waiters are well trained delivering great friendly service. They are well priced for quality food and a variety of dishes including sushi, soups,salads and other Asian dishes.I highly recommend the Citronelle (local lemongrass tea) as a digestive. It is recommended to book as the place fills up quickly after 8pm. Enjoyable experience.

I went 3 times to Sakura during my time in Libreville, and Sakura
is the first and only japanese restaurant.
First, the atmosphere : very cold!
The quality of the food is good, but the price charged for sushis and sashimis
is just prohibitive...this is too expensive
The service is ok, but for the price charged, it should be improved!

Overall was very good. Sushi, rice, vegetables tampura, beef, calamari dishes, etc... All was good. You can check the photos for the dishes I tried.
