How is Addis Downtown Cafe & Restaurant rated?

I perfect restaurant for lunch and coffee break. We had clubsandwich (pizza and burgers is on the menu too) as lunch and the portions were massive, one plate could do for at least 2 people, 3 if you are not that hungry. Food is good...and the restaurant is in close vicinity to the Piazza. They serve traditional Ethipian coffee. Recommend for a lunch. The Downtown we visited is located at Churchill road.More

Pleasant and relaxed

I was pleased with the service, the stir fry I ate was tasty and the atmosphere was like a busy but relaxed inner city café you can find all over the world. You can sit inside or on the balcony. I chose inside because watching...the Addis traffic is o my idea of a good time, however, I was able to park right out front.More

Good local restaurant

I saw the other review and I was a little shocked. I have just been there and the device is very good and there is parking in front of the place. What I also have to say is that the food is good there. They...have nice local dishes and a good pizza. What is also very enjoyable is the cappuccino!!! The only challenge is to find it, because it's very far from the city centre!More

Lesser of Two Evils

I don't like giving a bad review about local restaurants. However, something has to be said about Downtown cafe and restaurant at Goffa, Addis Ababa. I don't recommend anyone even to try it.Bad food, poor service, no parking, very expensive.... I don't know what the...owners are thinking running such a mess. They should know that people are going there only because there are no other alternative cafe's and they're located at one of the worst parts of town. Lesser of Two Evils?More
