This is probably the perfect place to stop by if this is your first time in Ethiopia or if you are searching for good entertainment for big groups in town. The food is as local as it gets. Live music and dances provide you with some good entertainment. The restaurant works in a buffet style. Reservations are accepted.

200 Habesha is an traditional restaurant in Addis that caters both to foreigners and locals. We saw many locals, including families, celebrating there. The food is quite good and the live shows is entertaining, although the music is very loud. It is worth to try it once.

It is one of the good places in Addis. The Tej cultural drink is good as well. Generally I found it to be a good place to spend your cultural evening.

An interesting evening with an Ethiopian family, experiencing Ethiopian cuisine(not our favourite) and traditional music and dancing

Excellent food and service. Waiters were on point! Great for large groups or families. Very fit and good looking dancers 😂. You might wanna make a reservation as it's a popular joint and it gets crowded really fast. Best night in Addis.

We went there for dinner but I was disappointed on a specific dish called Zilzil tibbs, it was very dry and wasn't juicy at all. I would never expect a traditional restaurant would serve this kind of dish when they have to be experts on Ethiopian dishes. Other than that everything was perfect. Waiters were on point and great for... More

Popular with tourists, NGO workers, and diplomatic types, yet locals also go there. The buffet offers a wide variety of traditional foods of good quality, and the musicians and dancers offer a taste of the many different traditional regional dances, and occasionally pull a guest into the fun too.

If you are visiting Addis, the cultural restaurant with music/dancing shows are either Yod Abyssina or 2000 Habesha. You will always find some tourists there but there are also many locals coming to enjoy a dinner with dances. Actually the day I was there we could find more locals around.... Room is quite big with nice view on orchestra and... More

I visited Habesha with a large group in Addis for a conference. The restaurant did a nice job of arranging our seating in advance as a group. The food was buffet style. It's hard to judge since I'm not too familiar with Ethiopian cuisine, but it seemed average. The reason to go here was clearly for the entertainment. There were... More
