Quintal da Musica was such a big surprise for me...this place is not just food with live music and that's why it is so difficult for me to properly explain the feelings about it. If you're looking for a special place, and to know a little about Cape Verde, go for this one.

We had a tasty meal (we weren't expecting) and listened to great musicians. Cape Verde has wonderful artists, composers and singers and these didn't let us down. An experience to repeat...

Strongly recommend to book in advance so you can get a table for dinner. Shows normally starts after 830. I recommend starter with local cheese and Arroz do Marisco for main dish. Great service.

First dinner of a week-long stay in Santiago. The food was below average and too salty (portion were huge, though). The band was nice.

This music restaurant was recommended to us, so we went whilst travelling through Praia. We had a great evening and would not hesitate in returning. It's a really interesting place to visit, with endless photos of musicians who have played here. The service was first class & the food excellent. All of which was to a back drop of some... More

When we arrived at this restaurant, we were able to look at the menu for at a maximum one minute before the waiter started with the spanish inquisition. He pretended to be helpful, but then tried to push us to get a certain dish and a certain drink and started sighing when we didn't make our decision fast enough. Mind... More

The food was really good. Waiters were funny and speak English. They carried bottles on their head. The live music was pretty awesome too. Really had a great time there. It's a must visit. The hotel made a reservation for us a day before and we don't regret it at all. And it's not even expensive. Good price for a... More

this is a nice restaurant, the food is good and averagly priced. The staff is nice. It is quite touristy though even if they try to keep it "local". The music is generally nice. I have been there twice in 2 weeks and it was one of my favorite restaurant in Praia.

We enjoyed lunch, waiter was extremely helpful with gluten allergy & milk allergy. The special was tuna & was absolutely delicious & great value for money. Waiter was kind, attentive & eager to please. Whilst we were there boys arrived to serenade us, to my sons delight! It was a lovely touch, I know they do all the local restaurants,... More
