Very pleasent setting. The garden is very beautiful and spacious. Great range of traditional food and grilled meats. Unfortunately the service is rather slow and took time to get served, some things are rather overpriced although the food is good. Would recommend you to encourage...waitresses to work on their speed and pay attention to customers. Generally good food and refreshing setting. For traditional Zimbabwean cuisine I would recommend Gavas.More

On entering the outdoor premises you stroll towards your desired table and are immediately approached by one of the many waiting staff. They give you a menu and the best advise on what to order. On placing your order, your drinks arrive very quickly, you...dont have to wait too long for the delectable meal to arrive. If you want Zimbabwean cuisine this is the place to go but they still offer fries for those with a European palateMore

It is a meat lover's delight especially if you choose their combo like Mutongi Gava or Muyera Shumba. The prices were high and the service was a bit slow but not too bad.

It was out first introduction to Zimbabwean food and it did not disappoint. I especially loved sitting outdoors listening to the Jazz while we tried traditional Zim dishes.

I liked this place. The food was filling, which is what you want, and tasty. I ordered a sausage dish, but someone else ordered the goat stew and I was jealous of it, so maybe go with that.

We were booked for lunch but were delayed and only arrived at 4.30pm but they were still open to serve us. Situated on a disused bowling green, this place is perfect for families with children because there is lots of grass for them to run...on. The restaurant specializes in grills and traditional Zimbabwean food. Sadly some of the more popular dishes like oxtail were sold out! Go early. It’s popular with the locals. There was a private party with a live band in one corner and a hen party on the opposite side. Very festive and fun. So worth a visit but go hungry. The portions are big!More

Gava' mixed grill is a surreal meal that raveals your taste buds and leave you clamouring for more. They serve the perfect slow cooked traditional meals that makes the perfect Zimbabwean traditional meal ambarssardors.
