Excellent experience for both a casual work lunch, the tables outside are comfortable and allow to talk in peace and a birthday party. The food is simple but very nice and gives the chance to try the Shona cuisine in a very pleasant environment.

This has become my relief from my bimonthly traditional food craving! It’s a great place to bring international visiting friends to taste traditional food and the music ( especially the live jazz band) always gets us bobbing our heads as we eat. The service is...More

I frequently have lunch with my friends or girlfriend at Gava, at least 8 times this year alone. They are quite good on local traditional food especially their Mutongigava menu. However, they tend to be overwhelmed during weekends. On three occassions we failed to get...More

If you want traditional food, then this is the place to go. Such a great variety of traditional Zimbabwean foods. Service was good, they had heaters indoors to keep it warm in the winter, and the food was good. If you are a tourist, you...More
