Real Portuguese cuisine

The food was great, tasty and meat well marinated particularly the chicken and steaks. The portions for fries and salads are very generous and highly commendable, keep up the good standard and pricing very affordable well located at a convenient site. Will certainly call again... Great ambience 👌👌

True Portuguese Cuisine..

True Portuguese Cuisine.. The aroma sat right under my nose upon entry and that for me was already a win win. Now, I never order chicken out however everyone seemed to rave about it therefore I thought I should give it a go. The flavor ran all the way through to the bone and I had it paired up with prawns and a garden salad that was just as good. Was not too impress with the menu presentation, it being on a board with someone holding it up for me as I still struggled to read it. The Staff, Gift was incredibly alert and paid attention detail as he recommended what they considered their most popular beverages. All in all it was a great experience and it’s a place I would recommend as well as return.

Sorry about our hold up menu, its just an improvise due to covid so that our menus do not get passed on from hands to hands, as it would be an easy way of passing covid. Excellent Service Once Gain

The food was delicious as always but the service was outstanding, a gentleman by the name of George was quite guest oriented and would periodically check and top up our drinks. Top notch service right there. He adds value to the establishment.

Neighbourhood Watch Lunch

As a regular at Paula's I decided to have our neighbourhood watch patrollers lunch here and everyone was so happy with my choice. Very good food at very affordable prices. The chicken is amazing as is the steak and fish. The portion sizes are great value for money. The service is very good which made our lunch very memorable. Special mention must be made about the amazing garlic sauce which we all loved.

A Portuguese Culinary Oasis: Paula's Restaurant,

Paula's Restaurant in Harare is a fantastic place for Portuguese food lovers. My recent visit reminded me why I love this restaurant so much. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant has a charming Portuguese vibe, making you feel like you're in Portugal. We started with some delicious Portuguese wines, and this time, we tried a white wine. What's great is that the wines are reasonably priced, perfect for wine lovers like us. For our appetizers, we had the Entrescosto de Porco, which were tasty pork ribs. They were tender and smoky, reminding us of Portugal. The main course, the Crumbed Hake Fillet, was amazing. The fish was tender and crispy on the outside, and it came with perfectly cooked veggies. It was simple but oh-so-delicious. What I love about Paula's Restaurant is how authentic their food tastes. The pork ribs took us back to Portugal, and the fish dish showed how skilled their chef is. The service was excellent, with the staff knowing the menu well and making sure we had a great time. In short, Paula's Restaurant in Harare is the place to go for Portuguese food lovers. The Entrescosto de Porco and Crumbed Hake Fillet, along with many other tasty options, show the chef's dedication to Portuguese flavors. Whether you're a Portuguese food fan or just looking for a great meal, Paula's is the spot. We left with full stomachs and a big smile, eager to return for more delicious Portuguese food adventures at Paula's Restaurant. Highly recommended!

There is no other restaurant in Harare that provides a meal with atmosphere in Harare quite like Paulas. I always have chicken and chips, but it's no ordinary chicken and chips, this is gold! Delicious, perfectly cooked and well presented, gets us coming back time after time. And try the chocolate mousse.. Holy macaroni! Heaven on a spoon... Paula, you rock and we love it. Thank you.

Excellent Customer Service

A great place for a couple's dinner outing, we loved their chicken, and customer service is a 10/10. I love the most how Paula relates with customers. We went on Valentine's Day which was a pretty busy night for them, but they made sure to attend to you quite well. Can't wait to visit them again xxx.

A GREAT REVISIT AT PAULA'S

Definitely an improvement from my last visit. Was there Saturday, Sunday and Monday this week and although packed every day, the service was spot on, efficient, friendly and the food as always so delicious and fresh, oh and have to say the portions are so generous, its definitely great value for money. The chicken schnitzel was superb. Well done to all at Paula's Place!!!!

Wonderful

Have been staying in Greendale for a few weeks and have driven past daily. At last managed to find time to visit. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent but the highlight was the food. I have eaten in many restaurants in Harare and so far none vacant beat the quality of the meal. Very very nice, compliments to all of the staff for an unforgettable evening.

I am not one to write reviews in general but I just had to , after reading the review about a patron saying they give white patrons priority which made my blood boil. My family have been regulars at Paula’s Place since our arrival in Harare and being a person of colour myself I must say I have never been treated any different to any other race ,on the contrary both the owner and staff treat everyone well with respect and are helpful and friendly Making my family feel at home . Thanks To all the staff at Paulas for all the wonderful meals we have enjoyed there. can’t remember ever having a bad meal at Paula’s.

A well appointed Portuguese restaurant with a central location well suited to a casual business lunch. The service is good and food portions well balanced and very tasty. We had an enjoyable meal here and will most definitely return.

As always, the atmosphere here was pretty good. The waiters were extremely kind and we felt catered for. Besides a small hiccup when it came to getting my change from the bill I had paid, and the chicken portions not being as big, my sister and I had a great time! And Emmanuel, was one of the best waiters we had had in a while! I would recommend this place to a friend.

Sorry about the change issue, but unfortunately it's a nation wide problem as there is no change available from our Zimbabwean banks, as hard as we try to acquire change the little we do manage to get, is not enough for all transactions. The chicken we order are suppose to all weigh 1.5kgs each but suppliers, mix in smaller ones (at the same price)hoping we will not notice because every year during the festive season, due to increased demand there is a huge shortage of chicken. I am thrilled to hear that Emmanuel is a great waiter, because he has just joined us to help during the festive season. Once again, many thanks and hope to see you soon for a meal again! Awesome experience

Just feedback I was in at Paula for lunch, hosting 3 clients from Bindura. Paula made it an even greater day. The first impression was excellent. We sat at table 7 and our waiter an elderly pleasant man topped it up with his sense of humour and engagements. The food was awesome with generous portion sizes. My clients were happy and promised to bring own clients there. I loved the melted garlic butter!

Good choice for Mozambique/Portuguese cuisine

Very good Portuguese food with the option to heat it up with extra chilly. The half chicken and chips was succulent and tasty. Not overcooked as often happens. Service was good with friendly waiters and visible management. Beers were chilled and it didn't break the bank. Would be better if they improved the lighting which seemed a bit harsh.

hadn't been here for a while . very good prawns . ask.for. the biggest prawns they have . chicken and chips always good. excellent value to be fair . kinda strange was very quiet for a Saturday night . waiters bit to familiar should keep quiet and listen better .
