A very classy experience , probably the best place in town to entertain foreign visitors for business dinners in a charming ambiance to enjoy the flavors of the land with local music in the background and a very good service

We were staying at a lovely Riad only a short walk from this Restaurant. A really up and coming part of the Old City. The picture of the yellow studded door is very in keeping with this area. Food was amazing and architecture inside is very special. A little light Tunisian music is played in the centre of the building... More

What an amazing evening during Ramadan period. An unique offering that includes one soup, 3 starters, 1 incredible main course & 1 dessert. Rooms are beautiful and incredibly decorated. Waiters are very nice as well. At last a musician made this evening much more amazing.

Loved the place, u will be amazed by the decor as it was previously a house in Tunis, all the walls and status have the Tunisian touch design , and the food also is very nice

Food is abundant, atmosphere is beautiful and food is good. We particularly enjoyed the varied appetizer and I had a wonderful lamb shank. The atmosphere is in filled with candlelight...service was impeccable. It is pricey for Tunisia but the experience is worth it. Keep in mind we were on our honeymoon and this place is very romantic. This restaurant is worth a visit purely as a cultural and architectural experience. Rooms have been converted from an old mansion, so the decor is fantastic. Lots of waiting areas and side-rooms which are fun just to peek your head into. Traditional arabic music playing in the courtyard makes the perfect backdrop. The prices were on the high side, but... Well...this is another place famous for being famous. There were high points and LOW points to this place. A very low point...we ordered their tagine as appetizer and it came out just slightly warm (with mostly cold inner as they microwaved it) and it obviously had been made in a cupcake pan earlier, refrigerated and then warmed up slightly. No... More

The food was very good- we can a selection of starters that if you eat too much (easily done) there will be no room for the main course. Had lamb for main course which was very good. Tea was also very good. Most interesting thing was the location - a house - especially how it functioned with a number of... More

I have heard a lot about this place. As others have said, it is well known in Tunis. So I was looking forward to going. I've been twice recently. The experiences were very different. The first time I was part of a large group; we ate in a private room upstairs. The service was attentive, the food (traditional Tunisian) excellent.... More

We went there without a reservation, but were welcomed since we were early! What great service. The atmosphere sparked intimate stories from past travels for the three of us enjoying the wine and food. It was interesting to see the elegant restaurant fill up with mostly local people, since few tourists are visiting Tunis this year,
