Chez Slah is small Old restaurant in Tunis, or maybe, a door to the past. The service, the menu, and the feeling inside, will take you to 30 or 40 years ago. And pay attention! This is good, actually good! The ambiance is cozy and wellcoming. The staff is old school. The menu is classical and focused despite not explicitely, in... More

Loved the food although the service was a bit poker faced 😐 if you are a seafood lover this is the place ... Very intimate atmosphere but gets really busing late at nights so your required to book first although we got a table (our luck 😁)

Had my first ever Tunisian Bric a Thon (Tunisian version of a tuna fish burrito/taco) and my first ever Mousse au Chocolat. Have been addicted ever since. Best seafood in Tunis, best service in Tunis and it's just amazing. Founder's son, Slim, is a great host and makes you feel at home...the waiters are old school, reminiscent of your typical... More

The minute you open the door is like back to the past - in the most positive way.The interior, the service, the waiters - everything has a touch of the 50's. The food is amazing, the service is excellent but the whipped cream that comes with the dessert is out of this world. Simply delicious! Not to be missed. Finish... More

I first came here many decades ago, and this very precious jewel has not changed even the slightest. It is small, intimate and very basic. Nothing modern, no frills, just very cozy. The prices are very reasonable, but the food is among the best in Tunis. The fish is perfectly cooked, with their own special sauces. The chef will prepare... More

The place has been kept the same since 1956. A small, cosy restaurant with good seafood. You should reserve a table before you go, since it is always full. I especially recommend clams and black ink squid for the starters. They serve good Tunisian wine as well. The service is also very good. If you have the chance, ask for... More

Great food for value. Speciality in fish and seafood. I didnt like the waiter was so in a hurry to get us out and didnt let us enjoy time after dinner. I would come back just for the food, but they should be nicer with the customer

One of the best Mediterranean cuisine I have ever had, I took brik and tuna fish that was very fresh and testy however, it had been quite differently cooked so, this fact didn't tunas' taste worse. Try some dessert you will enjoy that.

I booked at this restaurant for 4 at 9pm on Friday night. Welcoming was not great and we were never informed that we had to gulp our food to allow staff to leave. Servers were very rude in their answers and had a weird look in their eyes without a smile. Food was not the best I had. We were... More
