as part of a tour this meal was in a very moroccan style decorated restaurant. They had live music. The service was friendly and professional.

Hamadi is recommended in many guide books, it was probably very nice in it's day, now it is very touristy and the food was tasteless and expensive for what it was. There are many other restaurants close by that are cheaper and more authentic.

Visited here as part of a Tangier day trip and was expecting some good Morrocan food - left slightly disappointed. The soup and cous cous were both quite bland and the chicken skewer, although tasty, was very small. The mint tea was the only good thing very refreshing.

Restaurant is very traditional and typical Moroccan food. It's tastey but nothing special. Soup and salad is good. Tangine is average. Live music is a nice treat.

It was our one and only night in Tangier and we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. We arrived at 8pm. The restaurant was easy to find and the place was quiet. The waiter spoke English well. The menu was in different languages, including English, so no translation was required as far as the dishes were concerned. The menu range... More

Went to this restaurant while on a tour of Tangier. Beautiful live music being played, friendly staff and beautiful interior. Food was great, fresh meat and delicious soup. You have to try the mint tea after dinner...just awesome!

This restaurant is soaked in tradition and friendly staff. Soup for an appetizer, couscous, and honey-soaked dessert. The restaurant does serve beer and a soft drink selection. We traveled as a group with a guide who arranged for music and the meal.

Good but not exceptional food, really nice multi-lengual waiters, they do serve alcohol. Nice because you can get couscous on days other than fridays. We also saw a "spectacle" which was a bit over the top, maybe not so authentic, but still fun. Also all the cab drivers know where this place is.

We arrived on the boat for our "One Night Moroccan/Tangier" experience. After being met at our hotel by our guide, Mohammed, we had a quick tour of the Medina. Supper time approaching, Mohammed escorted us to the Restaurant Hamadi, a favourite spot recommended by our hotel. It was a good experience to say the least. The seating area is upstairs,... More

The portions here are quite big. Had the vegetarian cous cous and could not finish it. The decor in Hamadi was pretty cool - lots of carpets on the walls, very comfy seats, muskets on the walls… Staff here were lovely, helpful and made us feel very welcome. We were one of only two groups of guests but did not... More
