I visited in June of 2019 with a group of friends while studying abroad. We loved Rif Kebdani so much that we ended up eating there 3 times during our trip. When I return to Tangier I will definitely be coming back to Rif Kebdani.
Even if full of tourists and few locals..this restaurant deserves a stop! nice choice of food and generous portions! Swardfish tajine is highly recommend
This was our first dinner in Morocco and it was one of the best. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, delightful decor. Best tajines - both lamb and vegetarian were excellent. Also one of the best versions of Harira soup we had. We thought we would get...there really early for dinner on a Monday but the place was full - mostly with people speaking English but it is apparent that it is also a local favorite. Would absolutely go back if ever in Tangier again.More
It might me the best Couscous in Morocco. At least for us it was. After traveling for more than two weeks in and around Morocco this was our highlight. Maybe they just oust more effort in the Couscous because it was a Friday, but I...feel like they always cook that well.
Great ambiance and friendly staff. You can’t go wrong eating here :-)
Thank you 🙏More
I highly recommend this place. If you're interested in some good Moroccan food. Abdul the owner is extremely friendly and kind and there is a waitress. By the name of janelli She is just a doll. Extremely grateful to have met them. I will definitely...come back.More
First night in Morocco. Couldn't have been better. If the rest of the meals on our trip are half as good as this we are going to be very lucky. Highly recommend.
5 people in our group, so we were able to sample several of the tagine options. All were very enjoyable. Given tea to enjoy after the meal. I can recommend this place!
I don’t leave reviews unless it’s a great or horrible experience.....and this was worthy of a 5 star review. Welcoming host, great food go here you won’t be disappointed...Perhaps the best seafood spaghetti I’ve had including in Italy

Hi there. We believe that it is called Choufleur m'charmel. There are recipes for it (with small variations) in Moro II cookbook, Moro East and the wonderful Medina Kitchen by Fiona Dunlop.
